Very Kind and welcoming atmosphere 
Great service from dee & Charl who provided help and guidance with parking and food and drink on the menu the  food Would recommend to any trucker if you are hungry I would definitely return again

Been stopping here for years, seen many changes all for the better. Jodie is alwsys pleasant nothing is to much for her she goes above and beyond every time i visit. As does all the staff. Great food good prices. And remember ITS A TRUCKSTOP!!!

Headed South for Thorpe Park weekend. We stopped here for tea. The staff were friendly, food was amazing topped off with a decent brew. Could not fault it.
We’ll definitely be back on our next trip down south for our tea again in a few weeks time

Amazing cafe food great the girls here really make you welcome so pleasant and happy makes ur time more enjoyable. Emily goes out her way to make sure everything perfect would highly recommend to anyone thank you 😊 

After a long ride out Road King was a welcome stop to rest and have a coffee. So much better than I was here a few years back the refurbishment has really raised the Truck stop to a new level but there prices are still good and cheep.

Use this place to eat every time I pass hgv driver.  Told friends about it they all go.   Iv coke tonight as short on time. Went to park and £26 is way too steep   Goes in to eat and all ya hear is clowns at bar telling each other about there day behind the wheels. Sad 😂😂. I won’t pay the parking but food is fantastic. 

Stayed for work. The price was very reasonable. The room was a bit dirty and quite small but extremely hot. Thankfully, they provided a fan, or it would have been torture.
Wish they would of put a kettle in the room.
But other than that, the bed was comfy, and staff were nice. 

Lovely welcome from efficient staff. Clean, comfortable room. Just what I needed after a long drive. Rooms are quite small, but comes with a small price. The drivers staying there all seemed happy, and that must be a good sign. Would definitely use again. Good value breakfast too.

Decent Breakfast, good quality, used to do free refills tea and coffee, but not anymore, reasonable price, clean facilities and toilets, friendly staff and quick service safe car parking, convenient for M6 motorway

In Cannock for an event at the station and as all the usual hotels were booked up we opted to stay at the Road King and taxi it into town 
The rooms were basic but very clean ,afequate for us as we just wanted somewhere to sleep
The food served in the cafe was fresh and hot ,great for a late breakfast
Everyone of the staff were very pleasant throughout the weekend
Our only gripe was that the cafe and bar was advertised as 24 hour but actually closed around 8pm  although security was on hand to serve hot drinks and non cooked snacks . If we had been made aware of this beforehand we would have eaten before returning
The Road King is a truck stop and offers wonderful facilities for the drivers
Price wise we couldn,t fault it 
We,ll definately visit again when next in Cannock
In reality 5 stars less a little for the confusion over the cafe times

Great place to stop and have a break very clean and comfortable very friendly staff. We ordered the largest breakfast they do and it was very nice the only criticism I have is your tea or coffee is not included which is not so good when your ordering the largest breakfast most other places include tea or coffee when ordering largest breakfast. Everything else tho is spot on very clean comfortable and most of all very friendly staff...
