Home from Home Guest House

We arrived early in the morning and rang the number on the door. Vince came to meet us within minutes. He let us park our car and showed us which room we had, even though it wasn't ready, and told us a time it would be (earlier than the original check in time). We walked into the centre of Cambridge and came back later. We were very pleased with the room as it was in the bungalow at the back and there was only us there. The room was spotless, spacious, equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, tv, iron and board, toiletries and towels. We were informed that the boiler had packed up so there were two electric radiators in the room. These were more than adequate and the shower was also electric so not an issue. Our night was comfortable and the area was quiet. Breakfast was lovely. Cereals, fruit, toast and yogurts and a menu to choose a cooked breakfast. It was cooked to our liking and presented well. After we checked out, Vince let us leave our car in the carpark so that we could walk back into Cambridge centre again before going home. This place is in a great location within walking distance to pubs, take aways, supermarket and the city centre. We were very happy and would definately stay here again.
