Plas dinas is among the three finest hotels my wife and I have visited.  We could not remotely fault any aspect of.    Our stay and we will definitely be visiting again more than likely in January 2025.

The staff bent over backwards to help us get into dinner our first night.  Despite paying extra for access to continental cellular networks our connectivity was crap.  The hotel tried to contact us all day.  Needless to say, they made the evening for us even better because of their help.  The house is charming and cozy.  Really a treat and highly recommended.  Their efforts show.  It's a beautiful setting and close to many great hiking areas and towns.

Booked dinner bed and breakfast for my wifes birthday and it lived up to and beyond both our expectations.The hotel is full of history and has been designed in a way that potrays the current owners love of the property.We stayed in the wonderful Princess Margaret suite with all its nostalgia and memorabilia.
Dinner in the Gunroom was delicious and so was our breakfast the following morning.An unforgettable experience and we will definitely be returning.

What a lovely place offering really luxurious rooms and UNBELIEVABLY fantastic food near Snowdonia.  A very, very welcome awaited us after climbing Snowdon in atrocious April weather …. I will remember the bath for many years to come!  
Seriously the food HAS to be worthy of a Michelin Star and really hope that they are rewarded next year.

We’ve just had a wonderful two night break here. Plans Dina’s is in an excellent position for exploring the Snowdonia National Park. Set in lovely gardens, beautiful, individual rooms, and amazing food. Superb breakfast and dinner is a fabulous experience. We loved every detail of the tasting menu, from the chef’s home made bread with Welsh butter and charcoaled Anglesey sea salt to the scrumptious Welsh honey tart. Definitely looking forward to our next visit. Thank you to all the team, service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble.

My husband and I recently stayed at Plas Dinas to celebrate our Golden wedding anniversary. We  booked The Princess Margaret suite,as had been impressed with the pictures on the website and the Royal connection. We were not disappointed. Everything is of a very high standard. The beautiful decor, the cleanliness of the rooms, the amazing bathroom, have to mention the luxurious bath with views over the garden.Lots of special touches like the decanter of sherry and the wedding photos of Princess Margaret and Lord Snowdon. Whilst being made very welcome by everyone we came into contact with from the housekeeping staff, waiting staff and especially Liam. The high level of professionalism is very apparent. We began with the Afternoon Tea with my husband stating it was one of the best he had enjoyed. The evening meal in The Gunroom is highly recommended. Special compliments to the Chef Daniel ap Geraint. We were served  such an interesting blend of flavours and taste and the waiting staff explained to us every course in detail, well done.  Daniel and Annie have achieved something very special in Plas Dinas.

We recently visited plas dinas country house to celebrate my parents Dimond anniversary. The food was wonderful and a great experience, special thanks to alaw making us feel welcome and making my parents feel special on their anniversary

What a Welsh Treat

Lovely Historic House

This is a lovely place to stay. We were well looked after, my gluten free dietary needs were catered for and the staff were very accommodating.The house is old so we expected that the rooms might be ‘quirky’ but we had a dangerous fault with our shower that could have resulted in serious scalding incident. We have informed the managers so they can deal with it.Dinner was 5* as you’d expect in a place with a chef of this calibre - wine and port also excellent. Pricey, but not excessive. Overall a lovely quiet and peaceful place to stay but close to local attractions and amenities if you want to travel to them .

Wonderful Golden Wedding weekend.

We enjoyed a fabulous meal last night, we choose to eat at the 6 pm sitting. This was a sublime experience one we hope to enjoy again soon.The setting the furnishing are perfect for a country home of the Armstrong family, we loved all the photos of a very happy Princess Margaret. The staff were delightful the food superb. I will treasure the memories of the whole evening for the rest of my life. We have eaten at many Michelin restaurants, but our meal last night was the best yet.

A sublime evening meal.

My wife and I visited for afternoon tea, after Plas Dinas had been recommended to us by friends. I was a bit taken aback on booking, as full payment is required upfront and there is a no-refund policy, although if you give 24-hours notice ahead of your booking they do allow you to reschedule. This was all clearly explained and I’m glad that we went ahead with our booking for afternoon tea - it was a most enjoyable experience. The setting is sublime, the food was excellent and the service was friendly and professional. We certainly plan to return, hopefully for dinner next time.

Was very nice large adjoining bathroom with quality toiletries . Teacoffe making facilities plus a small carafe of sherry . Meal was very good food could have been hotter , attention to detail lacking after enjoying a pleasant meal it would have been nice to have been offered Coffee and liqueurs in the drawing room to enable the staff to set up for breakfast , alas it wasn’t offered so we moved to drawing room on our own accord and liqueurs etc were offered , felt we were rushed out of the dining room . Breakfast was preordered and nicely cooked  . On the whole a pleasant stay

This is an elegant country house with a story. It was once home to Princess Margaret and Lord Snowden, whose family owned it. The house is wonderfully furnished and the dining experience worth reservations for dinner. Breakfast options plentiful and delicious. Very friendly place and great location to key sights in the area.
