The Farmyard Inn

Many thanks to Sammi and Joe an the rest of the fantastic team at The Farmyard Inn for providing us with a fantastic stay. We stayed for two nights in 'The Stable'- my wife, our dog Buddy and myself. The room was spacious, well-equipped and extremely comfortable. The atmosphere in the bar was as perfect as you could find in an English country pub: roaring log fires; great conversation with other customers, whether they were locals, hikers or fellow vacationers. The team at the Farmyard were so welcoming- even our temperamental cavapoo, Buddy was chilled out and relaxed as he curled up near to the fire in the bar. During our stay we ate on the Saturday evening and Sunday lunchtime. Both meals were outstanding and left us fit to burst! The newly refurbished upstairs snug was a lovely relaxed overflow from the busy main bar; it proved to be an ideal place for the superb continental breakfast that has recently been introduced at the pub. We would not hesitate to return and cannot speak highly enough of the welcome given to us. Cheers- Paul, Tracey and Buddy.
