Enjoyed a birthday stay at the Cadogan on Sat the 15th Feb! with all six family members - It was an absolute hoot!
Staff were welcoming (cheers Matt & Kate) and the food was absolutely the best pub food I have eaten - nothing was too much trouble at the table! one of our party works in the 5* hospitality sector and even she was blown away with the service! So thanks guys for a brilliant time - we will be back. (PS Matt take note 'Henry' needs a new mattress)

Great stay. Did not expect this standard of food

The best pub grub I’ve ever eaten please don’t drive past this amazing restaurant we stayed Saturday night and was treated to some amazing food my son (aged 10 ) had the sirloin on the bone he hasn’t stopped talking about it since I had the pheasant and bacon Kiev on red cabbage with a bacon gravy the service and food can’t be beaten we can’t wait to go back

Was running late and had phone call to check if I needed food as kitchen closing at 9pm. Got several options as I arrived just after and food was delicious and great service. Would definitely recommend!

Super comfy beds and attractive rooms . Delicious food and fantastic staff who made me feel very welcome last night. 
The menu was really varied which made a pleasant change and the dish I ordered was cooked to perfection and well priced too .
It would be a real bonus if they offered breakfast but that’s the only downside

Location was easy to find with ability to have dinner after arrival. Easy to get into Bury St. Edmunds and back to RAF Lakenheath if need be. Close to several gas stations and highway.  Room was very clean, roomy, and very quiet. Only stayed 1 night, but definitely would stay again and could easily do several nights. Next time, will try pub downstairs.

Very comfortable stay - Excellent bed! Room even better than the listing photos! Room only and we didn’t eat or drink in the pub/restaurant. Easy parking and access to room.

Cadogan Arm Stay

The best Sunday lunch! Great food quality, choice & accommodating food allergies. Excellent value & brilliant staff! Highly recommended. We have visited on several occasions for Sunday lunch or during the week, it’s nice to be able to have options for those that enjoy a good steak or vegetarian food (we have both in our family).

Brilliant Sunday lunch

We booked on a room only basis.  No breakfast provided, this was known at the time of booking.  Restaurant open from 12 noon till late.  Matt and Kate were front of house, very efficient, but relaxed and friendly at the same time, Matt especially is very welcoming and informative about food, drinks etc, nothing too much trouble.  We stayed whilst visiting family in the area, would recommend.

Having already stayed the night in Bury, we decided to stop here for a drink on our journey home, or so we thought ! A couple of drinks in this delightful place, we decided to enquire if there were any free rooms, the staff couldn't have been more helpful, and shortly after, we were given the key to the lovely Earl room, huge comfy bed, lots of space and a nice big bathroom with bath, lots of tea/coffee and yummy biscuits couldn't ask for more ! 
We booked a table for dinner and in a word sensational. We had a starter of Whitebait cooked to perfection, followed by what I can honestly say was the best steak I've had in years, delicious. My partner had a burger which again was truly fantastic.
The Cardogan and its staff are lovely, great food and wine list, we loved it so much we booked to stay for 2 nights in September and can not wait to return.

Spontaneous overnight stay 

Stayed one night whilst on business in Bury St Edmunds and what a great find this hotel was. Very cosy with great amenities  and a cracking menu and drinks choice.Cant fault the service and really looked forward to the breakfast as i have a letter start to my day….. but no breakfast service!. But that would not stop me from staying again.

Great location, not far from the town. We stayed in the Earl room which was really spacious and the bathroom was also a really good size. The staff were lovely. The cons was that there were a lot of thick cobwebs, they looked as though they had been there for a while. The cold tap was really stiff and you could tell the toilet was really old as there were markings at the bottom of the bowl…

Good stay

Visited with family for an evening meal, we did pre book. Dog friendly which was great for me as I had my trusty Lexi with me. Really nice atmosphere in bar/ restaurant area. Staff very friendly and professional. We ordered starters and steaks for main all the food was cooked perfectly and very tasty. Highly recommended this place. We will definitely be back
