I stayed here for a month in the summer of 2010. I found the owner Steve to be very friendly, helpful, and interesting to talk with. Older building but clean and charming....sorta like Faulty Towers in a way....we even had a German staying with us during a dedication to Bomber Harris!! I'm from the U.S. and found this hotel and Steve to be very genuine. They do serve an evening meal over the weekend and it was very nice. I also enjoyed sitting out back in the garden with a nice English beer!! It is not a Ritz or The Milestone....but it is very quaint for Lakenheath and during my stay Steve was a very gracious inn keeper/host.
