Lovely stay. Room was cozy, everything you need. The beds were soo comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely amazing...would highly recommend.

Ideal location for our visit to visit relations in Bude.  Staff friendly.  Look forward to return visit.

It was our first time in Bude and we felt really welcomed by Links Side Guest House. The room was lovely and clean with a good shower and en-suite. The breakfast menu provided lots of different options and all that we tried was delicious. The owner was nice to talk to and we felt like we could come and go as we pleased. Would recommend as a great option for anyone staying in Bude

Great location in Bude, everything an easy walk, so car left in car park for the 3 days which was great!
Cleanliness and decor was spot on.
Great breakfasts served piping hot, lovely coffee.
John and Anita are welcoming hosts and run their guesthouse like a well-oiled wheel.

We had a fantastic stay here in June. The guest house is lovely, is in a great location and has on street parking right outside. The hosts let us check in early and even had the room ready which we really appreciated; they were very accomodating hosts. The place was great and breakfast was very tasty. Great value place and we would recommend it to anyone

Lovely guesthouse

I stayed at the Links Side Guest House for two nights for a friend's wedding in Bude. I travelled from Cambridge and arrived around 9pm on a Friday evening. The hosts were accommodating with me arriving at this time. Everything for my stay was very comfortable, the room was warm, bed was comfy, breakfast was brilliant and the hosts very friendly. Felt well looked after. Location of the guest house is also brilliant. Would not hesitate to book here again :)

Short trip to Bude

Stayed at Links Side for one night whilst walking in North Cornwall. Booking and communication prior to visit were easy and excellent. As two walking buddies we shared a top floor twin room with en-suite shower room. Comfortable beds and room entirely adequate for our needs. 
As a vegetarian and a vegan the hosts understood our dietary requirements and provided an excellent cooked breakfast and packed lunch, just what we needed to set us up for the day and keep us going during our walk.
Links Side overlooks the golf course and is close to the town centre, convenient and quiet. On street parking outside is unrestricted between 6pm and 9am and restricted to 2hrs during the day so great for an overnight stay. If longer term parking is required there’s a car park across the road. 
John is an excellent welcoming host, friendly without being ‘in your face’, just what I like. 
Only very minor issue is the tiny hand basin in the en-suite which wasn’t much use apart from brushing teeth but shower was excellent and we found it easiest to just take a shower rather than attempt washing in the hand basin.
WiFi was good.
All in all an excellent overnight stay in a very comfortable and friendly guest house. Thank you

Overnight stay whilst walking in the area

Really lovely place, walking distance to beach and town. Four of us in two rooms for a night. Rooms were spacious and immaculately clean. Check in was smooth and quick. En suite facilities good with a nice electric shower. A special mention for the magnificent large fluffy towels. Too many places provide towels the size of flannels with the absorbent qualities of sandpaper. Not here. 
Breakfast was fulsome, freshly cooked, delicious and with plenty of options. 
All in all, pretty much spot on in every aspect.

A lovely stay

We had an excellent stay at Links Side over the Easter weekend, it was our first time in Bude. The guesthouse is superbly located on the edge of town and close to all amenities but with lovely views across the golf course to the coast. Parking was easy and we managed to park for free all weekend, through a mix of parking a short walk away in the daytime and overnight outside the B&B. The hosts are superbly friendly and so accommodating, we felt extremely well looked after. The breakfasts were also excellent quality with a very efficient service. Our room was spacious, had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Overall we had a lovely break and will certainly look forward to staying at Links Side again when we return to Bude. Thankyou.

Excellent B&B and superb hosts

We arrived slightly early which was not a problem for John who checked us in promptly and gave us some information. He was extremely knowledgeable about Bude and he made a couple of nice recommendations.

The room was cute and the bathroom was decently equipped. The room was on the small side but wasn't a major problem. The bathroom and shower were small and the shower pressure was quite poor. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Breakfast was fine but nothing special.

Overall, the stay was decent and the service very good. We would recommend and would stay again.

Very good but shower & breakfast slightly lacking

I stayed here with my partner for one night at the start of a birthday trip away. We were greeted kindly, and there had been a mix up booking online via booking.com and the information transferred across to the hosts was that only one of us was staying, and not two! This was no issue for them, as they speedily made up the second bed in the room for us. We happily paid the very small pay increase, and they even gave us the cheaper rate for the increase, rather than the higher one booking.com would have charged! Breakfast was lovely, and I’m a gluten free vegan, and they catered to my dietary needs. The room was well presented and lovely and clean; they allocated breakfast serving slots so the breakfast area wasn’t crowded at all, we ate with only one other couple in the room. They also offered a good selection of breakfast choices. If we are in Bude again we would love to stay here!

Lovely room lovely hosts

Wow what a fantastic find! This b&b has it all - great location, great hosts, lovely and clean rooms, and fantastic breakfast! Walking distance of sea pool, crooklets and summerleaze beach and town centre shops and bars and restaurants. Bude Tandoori a couple houses down. Parking £6 for 24 hours opposite. We will be back!

Wow fanatic stay 5 star

Links Side Guesthouse ticked all the boxes that one would expect from this type of accommodation. The Room was functional and comfortable. The literature in the room was very informative and I managed to find some nice restaurants with this information. The added bonus is that it is only 5 minutes from Sainsbury's which allowed me to buy some items as well as drawing cash from their ATM. Can't wait for my next visit.
