Foxhill Manor

Foxhill manor is incredible. Absolutely wonderful. We had a fantastic experience. We stayed for two nights under their Full Fox package. Everything was perfect. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were pampered, cared for, and treated like valued guests (rather than customers). The staff could not have been more welcoming, more helpful, or more attentive. The hospitality was amazing. We were asked, many times, if there was anything we wanted or needed. The staff made suggestions about things we might like, or things that we could add to what we had asked for. We were encouraged to have more food and drinks (and given that we had already paid for everything, the hotel had nothing to gain financially from our ordering more). We were actively encouraged to make ourselves feel at home - to relax and to be comfortable. The quality of the food was very good, and the portions were generous (and, of course, we were encouraged to have more if we wanted). Drinks (including Champagne) are available in the lounge at all times, and we were free to just help ourselves. There are also cakes and sweet treats (on our first day, there were millionaire's shortbread slices - my absolute favourite). Our room was huge, very comfortable, very tastefully decorated, and spotlessly clean. There are loads of little service/hospitality touches that make such an enormous difference to the experience of a hotel stay. I cannot praise this place highly enough. I would give ten stars, if I could. We have already booked to return.
