Nice room in a lovely old building. Decoration a bit dated but very clean. Parking on site and easy walking to town centre and Cathedral. Great breakfast and friendly staff.

Cosy, convenient, quiet. In the beauty of the cathedral close and right in the centre of town. My room was spotless, lovely and warm with a cute little toilet and shower and towels. Staff were super helpful ahead of time and with check in.

Booked two double rooms, one front and one back. Gave the kids the amazing view of the cathedral. Glorious location moments from the city centre, friendly charm, quirky rambling building, generous breakfast, unusual non-hotel atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend for anyone who wants something a little different to hotels and Airbnbs. When returning at night (before 11pm) before entering, stop, turn around and marvel at the view of the lit up cathedral.

A wonderful suprise.  Perfect location in the heart of Salisbury overlooking the Cathedral, welcomed by friendly staff, pristine decent sized rooms, fluffy towels, easy parking, extremely competitively priced and a great fry up for breakfast.  Pound for pound probably the best place i have stayed in for 30 years. Thank you.

I went to see Jethro Tull Christmas at Salisbury Cathedral and this was the perfect safest way for a female lone traveller like myself to complete my task and I was not disappointed.  Unfortunately as i brand new lone traveller i had to learn a couple of lessons: first if you book 1 room and then add another room later you will be asked to move rooms.Second if you are staying around Christmas you may be at the mercy of extremely noisy party goers staggering home.  I was too scared to ring Reception for help but after speaking to the wonderful and very caring Sarum College reception staff I definitely would if there is ever a recurrence of such behaviour.

Highly recommended.

What an excellent find.  Warm and welcoming it was just what I needed.  The staff were very helpful the breakfast was all you could ask for and the shower was hot.  I left my tech at home and had a most enjoyable stay with my radio and book for company.  I highly recommend this little gem for the discerning traveller.

An oasis for the weary traveller

This was a lovely place to stay and enjoy the Salisbury Cathedral city experience. Lots of positive points: quiet rooms, truly wonderful hospitality, proximity to the cathedral and town centre, great buffet breakfast, reasonable price. And the highlight was being able to stroll across the road to experience the beauty of a cathedral choral evensong service, with a superb Bach cantata and wonderful organ music (though you can access that even if staying elsewhere). Only one disappointment for us, but a material one: the bed size - the double bed was really too small for two people, meaning a few sleepless nights.Don't expect a ritzy international hotel, this is a simple but comfortable guesthouse, except for the bed issue!Salisbury is a beautiful cathedral city, with so much history. Don’t miss a visit to Old Sarum and a walk in the footsteps of William the Conquerer and his successors!

Great value location. Just be alert to bed comfort

The hotel is a true gem with breathtaking views of the Cathedral. The building itself is beautiful and the location is perfect.Justine was an absolute star! Her friendliness and helpfulness went above and beyond. We had a last-minute dietary change and she went out of her way to accommodate us with a delicious vegan breakfast to go. We couldn't fault our stay at all and can't wait to return!  A must-stay!

Absolutely Stunning with Exceptional Service!

Lovely twin room with two windows with a view of the cathedral spire. Quiet outside and in the corridor.  Great little ensuite with a strong shower.  Breakfast was a pleasant surprise.  Cooked breakfast and continental in a lovely sunny dining room.  Staff friendly on arrival, departure and inbetween.  Good value for money.  Can't wait to come again.

Lovely central location, loads of free parking, clean and comfortable rooms, lovely staff and a great breakfast. Although don’t expect hotel style amenities. We had an en suite double with shower, Toiletries meant only a small bar of soap so do take shampoo. Towels and linen were fresh and soft. No TV, but we knew that anyway as it is clearly stated. Be warned however, it is within the gated community surrounding the cathedral and as such there is literally no access after about 11pm, at all. The site suggests you can get a key to let yourself in however they did not have any! We had to leave our wedding reception early enough to get back to the room. Ok if you aren’t planning a late evening, but do double check with them before booking to see if they have any keys. 
Otherwise a perfect and very reasonable stay in the centre of the city. Would definitely recommend and revisit.

Clean, comfortable and a great location, but check before you book if you want to stay out late!

I picked Sarum College on its location, you can literally see the cathedral from your window, and everything if interest is in easy walking distance.

Booking was done my phone, and received a helpful conformation email with all the details.

My first challenge was my car sat nav, "the close" does not appear in its database, swapping to post code got me to within 1/2 a mile of the college I swapped to google maps and was there in minutes.  And WOW what an impressive building.

the staff were very welcoming and made sure I know the current and next key code for the external/internal doors, before giving me my key and giving directions to my room.

The room was small but more than big enough for one person. the room was very clean and tidy; and came with a modern bathroom with lots of hot water.

The College does not offer evening meals, but the staff were able to provide recommendations.

They serve breakfast 0800-0900 which is a little late for me, but it just meant that I went for an early morning walk before breakfast.  Breakfast provides everything from cereal to the full fried breakfast and was very nice.

A really nice experience.

A brilliant location, right by the cathedral, in a lovely area and very close to the centre. Breakfast is great. Room was basic but all I needed, clean and comfortable enough. No TV, but good wifi. The staff were all lovely and helpful. You can pay a deposit for a key to the external gates to the close should you be arriving back late - I ended up not needing this, but had one just in case. It was quiet at night. Would recommend.
