Pump Cottage

On our first trip from Scotland to Dorset we arrived at Pump Cottage centrally located for exploring the surrounding area.
We were welcomed by Sue and Paul and immediately felt at ease in their beautiful home and surrounding gardens.
Rooms are tastefully decorated and their attention to detail exceptional.
Breakfast caters for all tastes and was delicious. Paul is a genius with his spittle for the porridge
Our hosts were attentive without being intrusive, and we would look no further for future visits. A perfect place for a fabulous trip.Highly recommended.

Our 4 night stay was absolutely fabulous. The Tripadvisor scores really do reflect how good it is. 

A beautiful country property with a very tasteful decor is bettered only by a wonderfully warm, friendly and professional welcome from Sue and Paul. Added to this is an excellent and wholesome breakfast. 

No wonder everyone has enjoyed their stay here. The four of us certainly did. Thank you

Sue  and Paul made us very welcome. The accommodation was immaculate .The room was comfortable and  the food superb.  Nothing was too much trouble for them and Paul extremely helpful with knowledge of the area. We highly recommend them for a visit!

We stayed here for 2 nights in the middle of our holiday in England and we didn't want to leave. Pump Cottage is immaculate and beautifully kept, both inside and out. It is quickly evident how much thought and care has gone into the offering of this B&B. Sue & Paul were outstanding hosts and so warm, welcoming, and friendly. Our room was bright, spacious and well appointed, with an atmosphere of instant comfort and relaxation. The ensuite bathroom was also bright, spacious and had both a claw-foot tub as well as a separate shower. Breakfast was superb and served in a bright, airy, beautifully decorated room overlooking the garden. It had a good variety of choices, is cooked to order, and plentiful - you can really feel the effort made and the quality of the ingredients. The location is perfect as a central base to explore Weymouth and the many beautiful towns and sites in the surrounding countryside. 
An added bonus for us was the ease of car parking here.
Couldn't ask for more and we would highly recommend a stay here.

Just returned from the lovely Pump Cottage in Weymouth, we stayed in the one bedroom House which was extremely well appointed and spotlessly clean, a great set up run by Sue and Paul , both very personable people and very welcoming. They also offer  B&B with  three lovely rooms available. 
  We were so impressed with the accommodation we plan to return hopefully sooner rather than later

The prettiest location. The prettiest property. Sue and her husband were the friendliest hosts. Our room was clean, fresh, lovely garden view. Plently of storage, great size room.Very comfortable mattresses and pillows. Bottled water, tea coffee and hot chocolate with kitkats. Tv. 
We were welcomed with a pot of tea, homemade cake and a chat about the local area. Could have opened the wine and spent to evening with them.

Off the beaten track, this is a quiet retreat from the rest of the busy area. Parking is available for the few rooms that are offered and the hosts are a delight - nothing is too much trouble for them. The bedroom and ensuite were exceptionally well appointed and the breakfasts were always superb.
With this luxury, there is no doubt that this is a level well above the normal B and B and we look forward to returning in the near future

I stayed at Pump View not the cottage, it’s a beautiful self contained double room on the grounds. It’s so pretty and perfect for a few days stay to get away from it all. Everything you need in the room and the host Sue was so welcoming and lovely. You are left to your own devices but equally they are there should you need anything at all. The decor is to a high standard and it’s so clean. It’s only about 10 minutes drive from Weymouth. Private parking and free good Wi-Fi. I cannot wait to come back, just what I needed to relax and recharge batteries. Thanks Sue x

A gem of a find in a tranquil  location tucked away in a lovely garden surrounded by pretty countryside.   Deer and hares in the garden. It’s only a short drive to the sea & other attractions in Dorset. 
Sue & Paul made us so welcome & our room & ensuite were  stylish & spotlessly clean. There was everything we needed. A good choice at breakfast, prepared fresh & well presented.  Happy to recommend Pump Cottage to anyone.

We stayed in Pump View, not the cottage. The place was easy to find and we were shown to a lovely room, with the amenities we needed for just needing somewhere to shower, sleep and get ready. It’s a small room, so everything is very compact, but the bed was very comfortable and everything clean & tidy. 
If we travel down to Weymouth again, we would choose to stay here again. 
The hosts were very friendly and helpful, checking that we had everything we needed and making sure that we were happy with everything. 
We couldn’t have asked for more!

Just returned from the Pump Lodge Frier Waddon Dorset. With such charming host and total peace how could you be dissatisfied. 
Own parking space with fuĺl amenities in the lodge,with area to enjoy with a drink at front of lodge.
