Booked for just the one night recently. Wish we had booked longer. It's a really great, well run hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. All the staff we had any contact with were very polite and very friendly. The breakfast was buffet style with a good choice of hot and cold food. 10 mins walk from the town. We'll definately return.

Oh, you know how it is. The kitchen is being decorated, the pots and pans are stashed in boxes, and chips again doesn’t quite cut it for a Sunday meal. So, we decided to try a take-away from the new kid on the blog … Seacourt Hotel. Just five minutes’ walk away and getting rave reviews. 

But wait. It’s a Carvery. That’s meat isn’t it? They won’t cater for dyed in the wool vegetarians, will they?

OH YES THEY DO. And my, do they do it well.

We had vegetarian wellingtons with an abundance of seasonal vegetables, stuffing balls, Yorkshire pudding, gravy, and other delicious treats, all cooked with that attention to detail that means the carrots are just the right side of al dente, and the roast potatoes have been smashed to create those wonderful crisp edges that make all the difference. 

The wellington isn’t the only vegetarian choice either – I must think of an excuse now to try the others.  Not only that, but they cater for vegan, dairy free and gluten diets too.

Did I mention the lovely, polite staff who can’t do enough to help? 

Whether you’re five minutes walk away, or a few miles (they do deliver, and it’s all packed well so that it stays piping hot), just doing up the kitchen, or visiting Brid on your hols, I can highly recommend Seacourt Hotel, and I can guarantee that you won’t finish your meal still feeling hungry. 

In fact, as we say in Yorkshire, “Thoo’ll be reet pogged”.

Probably the best take-away I’ve had in a very long time.

I was really impressed with their food service. Three members of my family are allergic/intolerant to one or more types of food. The hotel staff prepared well for us. They had free from hash browns (just for us), free from milk, gluten-free toast, and they even made scrambled egg with just the yolk (egg whites are a thing for two of us). I was so impressed.

The price was great, too. Particularly considering breakfast was included. Five of us stayed in room #10 and we loved it. The view is fantastic!

What can I say, from the moment I arrived I felt very welcome. I had come away for a few days on my own after a recent separation & to have a bit of me time. All the staff from the owner to the kitchen staff & bar staff were very inviting. Was always made welcome on a morning when I went to the restaurant for breakfast & Tracey went above & beyond to engage in conversation with me & it was nice to know even though I was staying there alone I wasn’t alone! Rooms were clean & stocked with Tea/coffee etc, there was an iron/board Tv WiFi etc.

First time at the Seacroft. Had the medium carvery which where awesome . Lovely tasty and all very fresh. Staff was attentive and polite.wife had the bread and butter pudding for dessert which was amazing.  I'm not a dessert person BUT I tried the dessert and it was superb... definitely going back there for food 100%. May even try the breakfast ....

Tracey sold us this place from the moment my mum and dad came to book. What an evening; Tracey went above and beyond and made my mum feel so special for her Birthday meal! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we had an amazing experience. We were recommended to come here by friends and we can see why. Long overdue review...

We have visited the restaurant on numerous occasions  mainly for the carvery and never been disappointed yet. 

As a local and having tried most Sunday roast offerings in the area, I can honestly say the Seacourt is up there, if not the 'best' carvery. Its refreshing to always have a choice of meats available! 

Despite never booking in advance, to date, we have always been accommodated and looked after well by the staff even during the busiest of periods! 
(As an example, on our most recent visit we bumped into some relatives already sat on another table, without being prompted one of the staff offered to pull up a table so we could all dine together - nice touch)

The Seacourt also cater for large group bookings which we have also taken advantage of.

A wonderful experience! Great location. Staff so friendly. Room overlooking the promenade and sea was great and very clean and comfortable. Good value for money. The restaurant and bar areas are very nice and spotlessly clean.  Good spread for breakfast. I had one issue with fried eggs. They were kept under a hot lamp and became like rubber. However when I asked for a fresh fried egg this was accommodated promptly and friendly. I would suggest that guests are asked how they would like their eggs cooked at the time. Great value for money and we would return.

Seacourt was very busy ,so pleased we booked. All staff smiling and helpful and directed us to a lovely table in the front dining room overlooking the bay, perfect.The carvery was amazing everything cooked to perfection and piping hot. Lamb Pork Beef and Turkey to choose from with a fab selection of vegetables and sauces and a the Biscoff cheesecake was yummy 😋

Amazing Sunday Lunch

Lovely time.  Beautiful views from our room.  Yummy breakfast served hot and fresh.  I’m fed up of buffet breakfasts.  Tea piping hot which is always a bonus.  
Our caverpoo had a great time.  Dog beach just opposite hotel.  It’s away from main drag but only 15 mins walk to all restaurants and attractions.  Will definitely book this hotel next time.
