103 reviewsWe decided that we wanted to get married in Glen Esk and have the reception at House of Mark. From the initial contact, Ian could not have been more accommodating. There were various visits from myself, my fiancé and others to sort out details, which Ian put up with, always smiling. They invited us for a food tasting and it was excellent We took the whole place plus the marquee for the whole weekend, agreed a corkage to do our own booze - and the even happened, exactly as planned, exactly on budget. We had 50 or so guests, many were in other houses nearby but we had House of Mark full. Ian was present it seemed like 24 hours a day. From welcoming the first guests mid Friday afternoon until waving goodbye to us all on Sunday lunchtime, he never lost his smile and his completely obliging manner. To any other Brides and Grooms - take the Cottage for yourselves. Much needed space and privacy from you guests! Happy to recommend this venue to anyone looking for a rural Scottish wedding! Huge thank you to Ian and the whole team at House of Mark.
