It’s a lovely cottage, spacious and homely, on a farm with view of fields, hills and sheep. It’s in a good location for visiting all the local historic areas. Hadrian’s wall, the Roman museums etc we even drove to Edinburgh on one of the days.

I stayed here after a particularly wet day walking the Pennine Way. Lesley, the owner, was so friendly and helpful.The room was spacious, clean, warm and good facilities. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice.It’s somewhere I’d definitely like to go back to.

The farm was easy to find and there was good parking. There was a warm welcome and the room was clean and bright with a good range of facilities. The guest information folder was extremely helpful and the wifi was good. The sleeping accommodation was to a good standard and, being in the country, there was no noise. The home-cooked beakfast was excellent and there was a full range of English and continental items to choose from. An excellence experience and I would recommend the property for a one or two night stay.

Great weekend at the B&B, nice and clean room, tasty  breakfast, beautiful countryside! We would be more than happy to go back!

Hidden gem , my family had a great holiday.

Beautiful location a short drive from Haltwhistle. The cottage we stayed in was spacious, clean and highly recommended. Lovely staff, so welcoming and helpful.

The farm is in a secluded location with just the usual noise you d expect being on a working farm. The room was a great size, breakfast was lovely and the host was very accommodating in finding somewhere for me to charge my bikes battery. There is also a great room that can be used by all visitors if you don't want to sit in your bedroom alone. I'll happily stay here again next year while on my next ride in the area

A fantastic B&B in a lovely rural location but a short drive away from all amenities. On the Pennine Way and nearby Hadrian's Wall walks. Lesley and Katie are welcoming and have really considered the needs of their guests. The B&B rooms are in a building with its own lounge, which is filled with maps, information leaflets, local information and even blister kits and deep heat for those who have finished a long day's walk. Secured, free WiFi is also provided and free parking. The room we had was clean, beautifully furnished and had a great shower. There is also a shared bathroom for those with young children or if you just fancy a soak rather than a shower. This is a stay on a working farm and Lesley provides breakfast in the mornings. Eggs from their own hens and meat locally sourced is on offer as well as vegetarian choices. The area is quiet and scenic and everything you could want from a 'famous five' style stay. We would highly recommend.

Lovely B&B in a Peaceful Setting

Kellagh Farm is a little off the beaten track as it is still a working farm, but perfectly placed for a stay whilst visiting Hadrian’s Wall and in an idyllic location. There is plenty of parking and amenities at the b&b are fantastic. The rooms have everything you need and there are also shared areas to have brew and chat next to a fire. A really great property at a fantastic price.

Brilliant B&B in peaceful surroundings.Very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help you. Place was clean and had everything I needed including Spacious en-suite bathroom. There is also a large lounge for guests to relax in. Delicious breakfast-will definitely be back, a great base for walking, cycling or exploring the area.

Fantastic B&B

We stayed in one of the Kellah Farms cottages and it was a fantastic accommodation! A very spacious attached self-catered cottage on 2 levels with all you could ever want for a long stay. Cosy and warm with a huge modern bathroom connected to the spacious Bedroom on the second floor. Situated in farm country about a 15 minute drive from Haltwhistle. Haltwhistle the self-proclaimed "Center of England" was a delightful small town near to many historical sites, including Hadiran's wall and incredible Roman ruins etc. Haltwhistle was the only small town with plenty of free parking and a very connected train station. Also the beautiful lake-district and many more lovely spots were very handy by car. Can't heap enough praise on the great accommodations and hosts at Kellah Farms!

Didn't want to leave!

We stayed a night at Kellah after a tough walk on the Pennine way and were well looked after. We got there later than planned and had missed our dinner reservation at a nearby hotel so were very grateful that Lesley was able to provide some home cooked food from her freezer. The place is spotless and the bed was comfy. Excellent breakfast too!

Farmhouse stay near to Pennine Way/Pennine Journey

I contacted the host and said I would be arriving around 9pm. The host was there to greet me and showed me to my room and have clear instructions. Breakfast was very good being a vegetarian Leslie gave me halloumi. The choose was on the level of the best hotels. Great night's sleep. Fantastic lounge for solo use of guests. Due to early departure the host provided an early breakfast.

Great B&B

Our stay at Kellah Farm was excellent. our reason for our trip was stressful and the cottage and surrounding fields were a lovely escape.Apart from the lovely farm noises it was a lovely quiet setting, and we enjoyed just sitting listening to nature in the garden attached to the cottage. All amenities within the cottage were provided. The bed was very comfortable and the windows looked out over the fields. It was a lovely place to stay and we look forward to returning soonI would definitely recommend it for a stay whilst exploring the surrounding areas or outstanding beauty.

The Lovely Kellah Cottage

Kellah Farm was fabulous. Fantastic location snd atmosphere bring a working farm. Our host Leslie could not do enough for us. Sooo friendly and welcoming, plus the breakfast was incredible. An easy picturesque drive into the village. Just amazing and would recommend a farm stay B&B like this to anyone!!!!!!!!!!!
