Our two night stay was a nice break. It coincided with Valentine's Day which meant that the restaurant was busy, but this didn't mean the service suffered. Breakfasts and dinners were lovely, and throughout our stay the lady who led the restaurant was attentive, engaging, and informing. The main house had character feeling like an old farmhouse, with amazing/quirky lighting throughout. The reception staff were very helpful, especially when we requested assistance with our room shower which was a challenge to bring the temperature down to a non-scalding level. He was surprised to see one of the levers in the state that it was, which was a shame. There were a couple of other areas which could do with TLC but that would be picky and did not detract from the stay. The location was ideal for exploring the local area including BoA as it seemed to be known locally. Not being dog owners we did not need to use the conservatory for meals. Thank you.
