Finlake Holiday Resort

This was my fourth visit to Finlake over the past few years, and I’m genuinely saddened to see negative reviews about the lodges and unhelpful staff. Each time we’ve stayed, we’ve booked through Devon Holidays, opting for privately owned and managed lodges, and our experience has been consistently fantastic. We make our way down from bonny Scotland a couple of times a year and have never had a bad experience The arrival information from Devon Holidays has always been clear and helpful, and every lodge we’ve stayed in has been well-maintained and spotlessly clean. The hot tubs have always been ready to use—hot, clean, and inviting. On the rare occasion we’ve had a minor issue, such as a dripping tap or a window that wouldn’t close, Steve from maintenance was quick to come by and resolve it. The resort itself is beautifully kept, with a wide range of well-organised activities. The pool and spa are fantastic, and the staff there have always been friendly and professional. I can’t recommend the properties we’ve stayed in enough—such as Devon Comfort, Hazel Bank, Oak Cabin, and most recently, Copse Corner. However, I’m confident any accommodation through Devon Holidays will be a great choice. Make the most of your stay by enjoying the on-site amenities, including the pool, spa, and long walks around the woodland and lake. I also highly recommend taking a short trip to Haytor—it’s stunning! Don’t let a few negative reviews put you off—Finlake is truly worth a visit!
