Me and wife staying in the area for a short break. Booked a table here and we had a beautiful meal, belly pork for wife and steak & ale pie for me. Both had garlic mushrooms for starters.
Food service at the right pace, very pleasant and friendly staff. 
Would highly recommend trying out this place if you live nearby or just passing through.
Well done Bricklayers arms, we've booked another stay nearby in April so looking forward to visiting your pub once again.
By the way the Batemans XX is so so nice as well.

Very pleasantly surprised. Decided to try somewhere new. Many places are closed on a Tuesday so after looking what was about we decided to try here.  Very cozy, pet friendly.  Fab pub food. Highly recommend.

Called in on the spur of the moment a couple of weeks ago with my husband and so glad we did. I had lasagne, chips and salad and it was delicious. Good portions and piping hot. My husband had the burger and that too was tasty and a good size portion. Lovely staff and a good atmosphere in the pub made for a great evening. Will definitely be going back very soon. Keep up the good work! Very welcoming and friendly.

Perfect single room. Very clean, with everything I needed, kettle, tv n a comfy bed, plenty of plugs- for phone charger n hair straighteners! 
Excellent price and wonderful food in the bar. 
Made to feel very welcome and felt comfortable Sat there on my own.
Perfect for a lone traveller which can be daunting, when on your own.



From the moment we arrived Richard & his team made us so welcome, we arrived fairly late in the evening, but were asked if we would like a meal at which point we were asked if we would like to order before we were shown our room, on return to the bar we had enough time to order our drinks before our meal was served. 

Our meal of Scampi & Chips was presented wonderfully and perfectly cooked. 

The staff are very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is that of a true family country pub. 

Breakfast is a perfect just about what takes your fancy, full English, continental, cereal, toast, preserves or any combination there of.

Richard is a true host that I don’t think anything would be to much of a problem for. 

Thank you Richard & team our short stay was a real pleasure, I am sure should we be in the Boston area again we will make a beeline for The Bricklayers Arms. 

Visited the Bricklayers Arms for a meal on a Thursday evening which is steak night we enjoyed a nice steak with all the trimmings the meal was brilliant and was matched with excellent service highly recommended

Good points...Restaurant food and staff were excellent and very helpful
Negatives... Informed on check in no cooked breakfast available Sunday due to carvery, cereals and toast only.
Room itself adequate..but quite noisy due too ventilation fan/pump whirring away all night in adjacent room ....Left early sleepless and hungry!
