Super friendly staff and welcoming reception….Danielle was great. Staying for a stag weekend - was looking for good value. Easy location, simple to find, basic but everything you need for a stay over. Would stay again and recommend. Thanks!! Rich

The receptionist was lovely and incredibly nice and professional. Car park isn’t the biggest if you have a van etc. easy to get too just off the A1. Metro centre is just about 5mins in a car or can walk too it aswell and 3 food places within a 2min walk. Top marks for Danielle the receptionist.

Good value for money compared to other hotels, comfortable bed with a good shower. 
With easy access off from the A1 Motorway. Short walking distance to the Metro Shopping Centre for a great food court and leisure activities

Lots of places to eat and visit and very good location

The staff here really set this travelodge apart.
Amber on reception was hugely helpful, as was her supervisor who’s name I didn’t catch. Really pleasant to deal with and seem genuinely nice people.

The hotel itself is as you’d expect but immaculately clean and fresh smelling compared to some others I’ve visited. Great location. Comfy beds.
Brilliant staff.

Great experience claire was exceptional at giving advice on where to go . Sights to see , very informative and professional . She served with a smile. Hotel rooms where up to standard and clean . Was very happy with the outcome of my stay and if I return to work in Newcastle I will use these facility's again

Stayed for 5 days, hotelnia centrally located. Rooms warm and cleaned to a high standard. All staff helpful in particular Amber and Leoni who made sure my stay was relaxing. Both made sure the room met our requirements. Would stay again in the future.

Pleasant room, quiet and just what we needed after a busy day shopping. I  have to say Claire on the desk was absolutely lovely and was so friendly  and nothing was too much bother….. she was a star ..thank you!!

Just drove here from stoke on Trent, was greeted by a lovely lady called Claire who could not do enough to help us. What a asset to the travel lodge company. The room was spotless. Will definitely be returning as it couldn’t be in a better location

Lovely stay, check in was quick, our room was ready upon arrival. The hotel was situated in a quiet spot, plenty of parking and rooms extremely clean and tidy. Special mention to Claire as she was so helpful. When we are next in the area we Will be back!

Great staff

We stayed here 4nughts while house hunting. Room was clean and fresh. Comfortable bed. Tea coffee facilities . Extra coffee etc easily accessible
Spacious
WiFi. TV and good reception channels

There is the train running outside but it didn't really bother our sleep. Plenty of things around
Food stations metro center etc 

Value for money

Great thanks to trip locations given by claire at the front desk of the lodge 

This hotel has minimum contact with staff. O|n arriving there was no one in reception, just a notice saying "back soon" after waiting we eventually contacted by phone when someone arrived. We had paid in advance and a credit was due due to a change but the receptionist did not know how to do that and said she would speak to manager. That was the last time we saw any staff member. We had to be away promptly in morning so we will have to contact to sort out.  The WIFI codes (also paid for in advance) did not work either
