The Corona

This was our second stay at this hotel and again, we weren't disappointed. Paul and Richard go out of their way to ensure guests have a great time. Due to it being so quiet we were able to check in very early which meant we could go out and enjoy our day without watching the clock. Parking at the hotel is limited but there are roads nearby with free parking. The seafront promenade, Pleasure Beach and tram stops are a 2 min walk away and South Pier about 5 mins so fantastic location and a lot quieter than staying on the front. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a larger room on the first floor with a double and single bed, perfect for myself and my daughter. The room was spotless and came with a kettle, tea and coffee, hairdryer and toiletries in the bathroom. The linen was clean and towels were large enough to cover your body after a shower, they even give you a special face towel to use for make up to save their towels getting ruined. The TV was a bonus as it had netflix, BBC IPlayer and ITVX (without ads!). Breakfast - there was a choice of yoghurts, fruit, pastries and cereals along with fruit juices or water which you could help yourself to. There is a great selection of hot food including a full english, kippers or just a breakfast sandwich. There is a handy table tidy bin and a pair of small scissors to open the sauce packets. My daughter unfortunately was unwell during our stay so had to stay in the room for most of the day, this wasn't a problem for them and we were asked several times if there was anything we needed. All in all a great stay and we will definitely be back
