Stayed for one night,the room was clean with a few nice touches whiskey   sweets and nice biscuits. The breakfast  was excellent  with plenty of choices fruit  cereals and a full  breakfast.,excellent value The owners were lovely would definitely stay again

Just stopped over at the Seymour house in Moffat. Have to say firstly I've stayed in a lot of hotels and b&bs in my time but never had so many nice little touches like this. From the usual tea and coffee making facilities but then a little decanter of whiskey,.some soft drinks and chocolate nibbles in a little fridge, cans of still and tonic water, some, caramel wafer bars and a jar of sweets, so simple but you can tell the owner puts a lot of effort into making your stay as good as possible. The host is so lovely, very helpful, breakfast there was perfect, even a selection of little cake and flapjacks (my favourite) the rooms were tidy and good size, little tvs, modern on suite, free parking out front. Moffat is a nice little quaint town with a lot of choice for somewhere to eat, everyone seems super friendly. Make sure to checkout the star hotel, the narrowest hotel in the UK at 20ft wide). 

For people with EVs the Seamore has a charging point out back but unfortunately we have quite a large car so access was too tight for us so we ended up going to the glebe car park up the road to charge ours which had a lot of chargers (with charge place Scotland) but unfortunately didn't work dispite trying and calling for over an hour, in the end we had to drive down the road to Lockerbie. Overall very happy, would definitely recommend and return. Thanks again for having us :)

I stayed here for 4 nights whilst exploring the Borders on  my motorbike. The room was great, located at the back of the house and was very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was perfect with a choice of anything you could ask for and served very quickly and efficiently. There were also a selection of fruit, cakes and various treats that you could help yourself to. Ross even offered the use of a garage to ensure my motorbike was safely stored away overnight at no extra cost.
I would definitely stay here again when in Moffat.

A cosy homey guest house , with traditional curtesy and attention , , I’ve never been to a guest house that offers so much variety at breakfast time as this place does , there was something this for everyone, and top that there’s even a small decanter of whisky in your bedroom at no extra cost ( OUTSTANDING ) in my opinion MR and Mrs Baillie , thank you and see you again

One of the best accommodations you can book, me and my colleague arrived there and was greeted with kindness, shown our rooms. Rooms were amazing along with the staff. We started work later and slept in for breakfast but upon checking out we were given a breakfast pack and hot coffee. Couldn’t be happier with the service and accommodation we received. Highly recommend! We got the best sleep we’ve had from staying away🙏

Lovely Victorian building.Lisa and Ross were excellent hosts. Stayed in room 6 a deluxe double room providing much more than we would have expected. There was a decanter of whiskey and one of sherry (unfortunately we weren’t able to take full advantage) a tub of sweets, a mini fridge with water, espresso and chocolates as well as all the usual teas, coffees and biscuits. At breakfast we were spoilt for choice with a huge array of food.  The pillows, bed and bedding were all so comfy. Would have preferred if the room was at the rear of the house but this is a minor point.

5 star stay! Owners were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Rooms were very comfortable, spotlessly clean and some lovely touches… sherry and sweeties! Moffat is a pretty, interesting town with some good eateries, especially the Italian

Recently stayed at this guest house and was pleasantly surprised. Room was very spacious and beautifully decorated. Large bathroom and shower.Bedding quilt and pillows were high quality and breakfast was lovely. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this guest house to anyone thinking of visiting and staying in Moffat.

Stayed in this lovely b&b last week for one night. Would have loved to stay longer.
Beautiful house, very clean and a very nice hostess that made us very welcome on arrival, nothing was too much trouble. We were given a beautiful room at the front but it was very quiet. We had a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was delicious.

Ideal location only paces away from the main square (free parking) lovely warm welcome from Sue, immaculate throughout, pleasant ensuite room with lots of attention to detail, bed & linen - OUTSTANDING, fantastic breakfast! This is a quiet, peaceful above standard guest house , for the price, far exceeded expectations, wouldn't hesitate to book again, Many Thanks for your hospitality Sue!

landlay Sue could not have been more welcoming and helpful in this clean,cosy, relaxing and peaceful guest house. 
Rooms modern, fresh , en suite, tea/coffee facilities, safe and quiet. 
Breakfast varied , including cooked and vegetarian. Really good filter coffee in your own cafitierre ! usage of cosy lounge with comfy seating  and books during the day. You do not get put out of room and can use room all day .

The room was large, very clean, well equipped and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with a choice of cereals and beautifully cooked main course. Parking outside the front and to the rear. Sue is a wonderful host. Would make a good base for visiting the area and is a super overnight stay for business and onward travellers.
