My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights, A real lovely stay, Room was very nice,Very spacious and very clean, Bed was big and also a leather sofa in the room. Breakfast was excellent every day and Julienne is a lovely host and very knowledgeable on things to do and go and see.
It’s just a short 10 minute walk from the harbour or town shops.
Would definitely recommend and definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was excellent, well furnished, modern, spacious and well equipped. Breakfast excellent also, and wonderful hosts. We will return if back in Ilfracombe and would thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic stay at the Dorchester. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious (the fruit compote & yoghurt is a must!). We found the short walk to the harbour great too, a chance to walk off dinner before bed!!

Good location, friendly attentive hosts who have thought of everything guests could need. Clean comfortable & quiet room number 1. Excellent breakfast, good choices. Short walk to the main town , beaches, restaurants etc. On site parking & bus stops close by.

This hotel was amazing , the owners super friendly,  clean welcoming rooms and delicious breakfast.  The rooms had a small fridge with daily fresh milk.  A short walk to town and the harbour and a bus stop outside , would recommend

Julienne is a very friendly & professional host.
The room was spacious with its own bathroom, very clean and well equipped including coffee / tea making facilities & fresh milk & some drinks in the mini fridge. 
The bed was of a good size, very comfy mattress & and pillows. 
We were very pleased with the fan in the room as weather was pretty warm. 
one more thing - BREAKFAST ! OMG I could die for that Salmon & scrumbled eggs 😁 very well cooked, kudos to the chef! 
We will definitely be back soon!

Could not fault The Dorchester during our stay there last week. Beautiful guest house just outside the centre of town. Julienne was very helpful providing tips on places to go, restaurants to try and being a great host. Good breakfasts with plenty of range and there is also a good selection of DVDs. If you want a B&B in Ilfracombe stay here.

On arrival Julienne and Peter where friendly and made us feel welcome and Peter help us up stairs with the bag's.
The room was on the front and beautiful presented with a good view and could see for miles. 
The breakfast was spot on and couldn't asked for more. 
What is a bonus. Car parking on the front. 
Prime location only being 20 minutes from town centre and the tunnel beaches. 
Covid friendly.
I wouldnt hesitate in staying there again.

Really enjoyed our stay here . Room was very big and had everything we needed. Plenty of storage and fridge was added bonus . 
Breakfast was excellent and tasty . Julienne looked after us very well . 
Easy to get to. About 10 minute walk to shops and 20 minutes to harbour.

Everything about this Guest House is excellent and Julienne  goes out of her way to make your stay enjoyable. Rooms are immaculate and breakfasts certainly set you up for the day. It is a good walk into town but located on the main route into Ilfracombe with parking off road and with easy access to routes to Devons attractions.
