Barforth Hall Fit Farm

We stayed in Barforth Hall Lodge which sleeps 12 and had an amazing time. It was spotlessly clean, facilities were excellent everything we needed for the weekend. The beds were very comfortable and very clean and the scenery was beautiful so would highly recommend anyone to stay here whether it's for the weekend or longer so will definitely be booking up again.

Absolutely beautiful stay at Barforth Hall Lodge. Picturesque countryside. Lovely walks with dog. The whole family adored the hot tub ( we want one,) lovely to look out onto the lamas whilst having breakfast. We will definitely definitely be back and would recommend to everyone. We are planning a large family holiday in the other lodges which all look spectacular and at the hall. Must see it to appreciate it! Loads of thanks to Paula Jason and Dakkhan who were superb hosts.

Don't be put off by what seems  an unlikely location. The room, though snug, was well equipped and clean and the breakfast (extra early as we were travelling on) was excellent.The owners could not have been more friendly or helpful.

We stayed here for a wedding we did not stay for any part of the fit farm

Stayed as a large family in the lodge. The place was very comfortable and would recommend, although there were a couple of niggles. The water pressure was low so the showers weren’t great, this could have been a localised temporary issue to be fair though. The WiFi was really good and had great download speeds. The TVs were huge! Watch out for the alpacas, they sometimes spit! The place had a dishwasher and a washing machine but no dishwasher tablets, washing powder etc were provided which was a shame. I felt that a small amount of these things could have been provided as it was miles to the nearest shop and would have been a nice and inexpensive touch for the guests. We had a really nice stay in a lovely location and would recommend to others.

Took my mum for a few days fitness retreat. Paula and her family are so welcoming, they couldn't do enough to meet our needs and make sure we had everything we wanted. Hot tub was amazing and the setting is so tranquil that you can't help feeling relaxed.
Only downside for me (completely personal choice) was that our room didn't have a shower, only the incredibly huge roll top bath which took forever to fill up. 
Great few days break and well worth a trip!
