Lovely spot to stay over. We booked a couple of nights on way down from Scotland to Wales. Super comfy king size bed. Room perfectly clean. Terry our host a great guy. Value for money excellent compared to other alternatives in areas.  Breakfast options a tad expensive in isolation but not in the overall picture. Recommended - comfortable, friendly  and great value  .

We love Reeth, and have stayed many times, but this time we were lucky enough to get my favourite view from our bedroom window!
The owners were super lovely, the whole place was absolutely spotless, and we will definitely be back, thank you for a lovely stay 😊

Me and my husband booked here fairly last minute at rhe beginning of the week for the weekend and booked a twin room. Terry very kindly noticed the booking and asked if he had intentionly booked a twin room and then kindly turned our room into a double. The bed was then a king size bed and was very comfortable. We found the room to be very clean and comfortable. We did not end up eating breakfast as we where always up and out exploring early to avoid bad weather so I can't comment on that. The village in which this is situated is stunning and found everyone we encountered was very friendly. We used this hotel as a base to then travel and visit Tan Hill pub and Richmond which I would also recommend visiting. We will 100% return to this hotel.

My son and I came up to Reeth to stay for a photography workshop. We had a twin room, which was very clean and comfortable and we could come and go as we pleased. The owner provided us with a discount card for the pub across the way, which served great food. This was a great base for visiting Hawes, The Buttertubs and surrounding areas. We would certainly stay again.

Excellent stay at Arkleside for my birthday weekend.  Hannah & Terry were the perfect hosts from start to finish & even upgraded us to  a superior room at no extra cost. The room was lovely with excellent facilities and stunning views. The quality of the breakfast was also excellent. Reeth is such a lovely village, we look forward to returning in the future to Reeth & Arkleside. We visited CB inn just up the road at Hannah & Terrys recommendation, the food was amazing.

We've just had a three day break and stayed at the guesthouse.   The room was lovely and had great views.  The bed was very comfortable and we both slept very well.
The guest house is very well kept and very clean.   The breakfasts are delicious and tasty and we really enjoyed our stay.
Terry and Hannah are both lovely people and made it very welcoming for us.
We'll definitely be visiting again in the future.

This was our third visit to Arkleside Country Guest House and it didn’t disappoint. 

We stayed in the annexe, which was absolutely beautiful. The double bed was like sleeping on a giant marshmallow - so comfortable. 

Loved the little touches left by Hannah and Terry: like everything you needed to make a cup of tea - to having the necessary items to wash up. 

We only made a few basic meals, as we ate regularly at The Buck just up the road, but we had everything we needed and more. 

It’s a great place to stay as a base. So many places to walk to. 

We highly recommend and can’t wait to return for a forth visit.

This is a real JEM of a B&B in a beautiful country village with fabulous views and amazing hosts. Terry and Hannah make you feel truly at home with locally sourced cooked breakfasts and great self contained rooms if preferred. Room was really clean and really comfortable beds. You won’t be disappointed to stay here. Will visit again very soon 👏

AMAZING

Superb stay

We stayed in the annexe at the guest house which was a beautiful conversion - comfortable and spotlessly clean.  The guesthouse is tucked away in a quiet corner of Reeth which is a popular spot to visit in Swaledale.  There’s plenty to do in the area, especially if you like nature and walking.  The village has amenities - pubs, cafes, shops etc so you don’t have to go far for a bite to eat or a drink - no need to use the car.  We would love to visit again.

Peaceful stay in a bustling village

this is probably an overused word here , but superb springs to mind . everything was superb , from the fantastic breakfast , great location and of course hannah and terry were the epitome of good host and hostess and always checked on our needs . the room was lovely and i found it hard to tear myself away from the tremendous view from the windows . if we return to the dales we know where we will be made welcome .
