We spent a while looking for accommodation in Cushendall, and chose Riverside based on the reviews and its location. 

We were not disappointed – we had a very clean, comfortable room, right in the centre of this charming village. Despite its proximity to restaurants and pubs, it was quiet and relaxing.

Pat and Ann are warm, welcoming people, and are good sources of information about the surrounding area.

If we ever revisit this beautiful part of the world we wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Riverside again.

We were made very welcome by our hosts Pat and Ann.  Comfy room and excellent breakfast.  Had dinner next door at Harry's Bar which was very good and spent the evening in friendly local pub Lurig.

Clean, comfortable and very welcoming b&b situated in the centre of the village with a good restaurant next door and live trad music in (Johnny Joes) bar down the street. We had a very relaxing weekend and the wonderful hosts Pat and Anne remembered us from our last visit 18 months ago! Very good breakfast and highly recommended.

I had the pleasure of staying with Pat and his family when I attended a wedding in the area this summer. An extremely welcoming host, his breakfasts certainly set you up for a day of Guinness at an Irish wedding! Very cute, clean and comfortable accommodation, it really felt like you were welcomed in by them all.

One of the best b & b’s we have ever stayed in for a number of reasons. Great location to explore the coast both north and south, ideal location on the high street with pubs and restaurants all within walking distance and good parking behind the property. The welcome was fabulous and the place is very clean and comfy and the best breakfasts ever and a very friendly couple who run it. 

We stayed recently for two nights. Pat and Ann are fabulous hosts, very relaxed and welcoming, and very helpful regarding the local area and further afield. Beautiful and clean home, and the breakfast was superb. Highly recommended. 

A warm and friendly place to stay, very traditional bed and breakfast, spotlessly clean.
Parking easy and location very central to the little town.
Pat is welcoming and you feel looked after, he is happy to tell you about the area and recommend where to eat etc. Good value too.


Stayed here for one night in winter and really enjoyed it. Bnb was warm and cosy with an open fire in the living room. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Great location right in the centre of cushendall. breakfast was great too!

We visit Cushendall a few times every spring-summer but this was our first time staying at the Riverside. Fabulous friendly hosts, lovely room, gorgeous garden area, great breakfast and location.  We are totally sold, loved it and will definitely be back

Superb?

My wife and I stayed for one night at The Riverside B&B while touring the Antrim Glens.  The B&B is wonderfully located in downtown Cushendall, within easy walking distance of pubs, restaurants, and historic sights.  Parking is available, either on the street in front of the B&B or in a public parking lot immediately behind.  Pat was a wonderful host, who offered some wonderful stories about his former career as a merchant mariner.  Breakfast was superb.  Four stars, rather than five, because the room was very small (seems to have been a normal-sized room that was subdivided into a bedroom and a bathroom); and it overlooked the street, resulting in relatively high traffic noise.  Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend this B&B.
