Ashby Woulds Lodges

When we arrived we were there was an issue with the lodge we booked so we got a free upgrade, always a bonus. Arrived at the lodge and everything was spot on. We were however missing our table from the decking/patio which we’re planning on using as the forecast looked decent. Rung reception and they sorted a table for us with no fuss. Hot tub wasn’t up to temperature for 1st night which was disappointing but we were told beforehand this cld be the case so can’t really moan too much about that, it was however up to 41.5 by breakfast which was splendid. Wi-Fi works perfectly which is rare for these kind of lodges, each lodge has its own individual Wi-Fi hub. I brought a fire stick with me and the signal never dropped once. Met the engineer who has only been here about 6 weeks and he is absolutely spot on, picked up on a thing or 2 that we hadn’t even noticed (like no outside light so u can see where your going when going to the hot tub at night) and fixed them first thing Saturday morning. Very peaceful location especially on the adults only park which we are on. I would definitely stay here again, I’d even pay the extra money to stay in the upgraded lodge which would have been an additional £220 on top of what we already paid. If they say the hot tub is in the garage, don’t worry, it’s all tiled and boarded out with another free view TV which works perfectly. I seen a couple of bed reviews before arriving, I have to say, I haven’t a clue what people were moaning about. This place is an absolute gem.
