The Anchorage

Room was spotlessly clean, warm welcome by the hosts Mike and Carol . Milk/sugar/tea/coffee/wine/chocolates a luvly surprise and we arrived just as warm scones came out of the oven , delicious.
Accommodation was good size, large bed, good kitchen with all facilities. Heating was very efficient, views from front and back as described. Mike gave us good information regarding food and drink venues nearby and explained nearest headland walks, very helpful. We would definitely recommend The Anchorage to all.

Such a friendly welcome from Mike & Carol and our 1-bed apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean and smart. 
The location is brilliant - about 20 seconds from the sea with some lovely cliff-top walks. We took Mike's advice and walked along the coastal path to Cemaes (about 7.5 miles) for fish and chips. Caught the bus back (although Mike had kindly offered to come and get us if we missed it).
Lots of interesting places to visit not too far away and generally quiet (not much traffic even in August). Lovely!

Excellent stay. Mike was really helpful and even carried my very heavy case! Apartment was amazing, a real home from home. Everything you needed with fabulous views. Great night sleep as extremely comfortable bed and no passing traffic. Bliss

Beautiful spacious self catering flat. Very welcoming and accommodating owners.

Hosts ensured that we had everything we needed and made us feel very welcome. Attention to detail with a personal touch to recommend places to visit and where to eat and shop locally made for a great start to the stay. Rooms were clean, fresh and well appointed. Certainly will be returning and recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing stay and do their own thing.

Very friendly place to stay, we were treated like family (although we are not).  Mike and Carol really go the "Extra Mile" to make you feel at home, the room was spotless, with a toaster, microwave, kettle, fridge, cutlery, indeed everything you could need including a bottle of milk, the location was good.  We were surprised at what a lovely, and diverse place Anglesey is, we would definitely return

We have always liked Bull Bay just outside Amlwch and struck lucky in finding The Anchorage apartments in the area we most liked.. We opted for the self contained apartment No. 2 for we like our comforts when we travel, it had great on suite facilities ( bath complete with overhead shower ) was spotlessly clean, had a large living room with huge TV comfortably furnished with a strategically placed captains chair sited in the bay window which afforded a view of the rocky bay. A small kitchen with all necessary equipment that was needed to cook meals if you so wanted. Large bedroom, huge bed,  with a second TV and enough furniture to store clothes etc .Carol and Mike were wonderful hosts, we always seem to strike lucky with self catering accommodation and in this instance we certainly did. We often travel to this part of Anglesey, so in future we have the perfect place to stay. Positioned 250 yards from the coastal path.

My wife nd I stayed here for a two night stay.  We had never heard of this place before, but it looked a very nice area and so decided to take the plunge.  

It is situated in a very quiet and beautiful area of Anglesey.  We had the 1st floor small room.  It is small, but just big enough for two people for a night or two, no longer though as it is very small.  However, there are other much larger rooms for families or longer stays.  

It is one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed in and the owners couldn't do enough to help and make us welcome.  I would highly reccomend this establishment.  Each room does have self catering facilities, with the bigger rooms having full cooker etc.

The one negative, but very minor is that the Wifi is a tad flakey, but that really is a very minor point.
