What a lovely quiet well appointed barn conversion/cottage. Two large bedrooms (we only needed the one) good kitchen/diner and huge lounge. Everything provided that you'd need to self cater, although we did both, eating in and out. Tucked away in quiet countryside, but with easy access to the Lakes wonderful scenery and attractions. Not far from some lovely, friendly pubs serving very good food and drink. We weren't at all bothered by the lack of reliable WiFi, it's great to be 'of the grid' for a while, especially with the stunning surrounding scenery and the sounds of nature. Thoroughly loved the place.

Loved our stay in lodge 7, made to feel welcome by the owners and workers around the farm, excellent value for money will be back again soon, so quiet and peaceful, lodges had everything you need really only downfall is the situation with the signal but that isn’t the not owners fault so I wouldn’t knock the rating down, third party company charge a ridiculous amount for signal BUT you come away to relax, only thing I’d advise is to fetch old school DVDs as TV does have Freeview but because of the lack of signal it makes it hard to watch Netflix or any other streaming service BUT could not fault the place we loved it 💙

We were in lodge 3 which sleeps 6 in three bedrooms with the master ensuite. Overall the lodge was fantastic and had everything that we needed or required. The living area is spacious, heating was set at a perfect tempreature and we had all the hot water that we required. The park that the lodge is in is set in a very rural area yet is only a few miles from everything that you need. The staff were great, super knowledgeable and very helpful. We had to have oxygen delivered to site for my mum who uses it all day every day and this was not an issue with the site even storing this from the Sunday until we arrived on the Monday (bank holiday). My mother enjoyed herself that much that she wants to go back again next year. 

When dealing with the Hoseasons call centre staff nothing was too much trouble and in particular Georgia Van-Kook took time to contact the park to ensure that everything would be fine with the oxygen before we confirmed the booking. 1st time booking with Hoseasons and would be happy to book with them again

Stayed here with the caravan last weekend. Amazing location and great facilities. 
The lady in the office is so welcoming and also the gentleman who showed us to the pitches couldn’t have been better! 

The toilet block was always clean and the pitches had all the necessities! 

Can’t wait to re book!

Currently no WiFi & phone signal is a little poor but that’s a blessing when you stay in such a beautiful setting.

The first thing I would like to mention is how welcoming, friendly and helpful the staff were, they made our stay feel extra special. The accommodation was absolutely amazing, it exceeded our expectations, we stayed in Lodge 7 and it was clean, comfortable and much bigger than we expected, it had everything we could possibly need and it felt very private and even had an enclosed garden. The surroundings were beautiful, everywhere you look there is wildlife, nature and Sheep! The location was perfect for exploring the Lakes, perfectly situated between Kendal and Windermere. 
We will definitely be returning!

My wife and I had a week at the bank view apartment, but it was more like a house it was plenty for the 2 of us and we had everything we needed.

When we looked into the site we noticed it was a bit remote, but it didn’t spoil the week at all and we enjoyed the drives out to Bowness on Windermere and Kendal.

The staff were friendly and helpful and nothing like the people that other reviewers described, they were always available when we needed them.

The only slight negative was the phone and mobile internet reception it was a bit patchy but it did us good to be off the grid for a while.

I would definitely book again and recommend it to anyone looking for a week in the Lake District.

We have just returned from staying in the Stable Cottage in Pound Farm. The cottage is comfy and cosy with all required facilities. It is a great size with 2 large bedrooms, good size kitchen/dinner and lounge. Suitable for a romantic break or staying with the family, It is also pet friendly for the 4 legged kids. The cottage was spotlessly clean and smelled fresh when we arrived. The furniture is a little dated (but not damaged), who needs to stay is a show room. The shower, TV, and all other equipment worked fine. The heating was amazingly quick to warm up and endless hot water for long soaks in the bath. The staff were friendly, helpful and have a gorgeous 4-legged colleague for cuddles. We had previously stayed in the campsite 7 years ago and thought the location was stunningly quaint and peaceful, However, We had recently read some bad reviews about Pound Farm and even considered cancelling, we are so glad we didn't listen to the comments. The place has not changed, its still a beautifully maintained and clean location, with good facilities and friendly staff, what more could you need. 

If you are looking for a quiet Caravan and Motorhome site you can't beat Pound Farm in Hevingham. The owners are very welcoming and have a check on you every morning to make sure everything is OK. Have never slept so well. Very quiet site but near enough to Cromer, Sheringham, Norfolk and so much more. A fabulous weekend get away for the two of us.

I am so conflicted about this place. 
The location is fantastic, beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Proximity to Bowness on Windermere, Kendal and other main routes around the Lake District is spot on. Not a bad distance to the Yorkshire Dales too.
Site doesn’t have good mobile signal and the park WiFi is hit and miss - this is not a negative, we enjoyed the peace. 
Our lodge was spacious, comfortable and we were able to park right outside. 
Unfortunately, the lodge was very worn throughout and desperately needs some money spent on it and some TLC to bring it up to standard and warrant the prices charged. That said, we had a wonderful few days up around the Lakes.
