We stayed here on a Friday and Saturday night in the superior double en-suite room. The hosts Jo and frank couldn’t do enough for us . The facilities were very well thought out and they had thought of everything including welcome tray , iron and board , hairdryer, slippers . Big comfy bed with a sofa , table , tasteful decor . The moment I walked into our room I knew we would definitely be returning . Breakfast was lovely with the biggest choice I have seen better than any hotel offering . Full English breakfast cooked to perfection. The price we paid for the room over 2 nights was extremely good value £238 in total and for what you receive hospitality wise we would gladly pay more for all of the little touches . It’s about 5 minutes from the centre of Ambleside . We can’t thank the hosts enough for an amazing little stay here and will return again next season
