We've stayed at The Plough a few times now. John, the owner is always welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms have individual appeal and are well equipped with all mod cons. The main building is beautiful and dates back to the 16th century. John's breakfasts are brilliant - quality food prepared with care and plenty of choice.

The Plough is very convenient if visiting Oxford and is only 6.7 miles from Redbridge Park & Ride. 

Approx 300m from Thames path. Comfortable triple room (double and single bed) in the annex, stayed after a very wet walk on the Thames path from Oxford. John was efficient at check-in, taking our order for breakfast the following morning and then showed us to our room. A few mins (very wet!) walk to dinner at the Barley Mow, a comfortable nights sleep and a good hearty breakfast to set us up well for the next day of walking. Great location, comfortable, just what was needed.

Clean, comfortable, slightly quirky room. Decent shower, comfy bed. Pleasant helpful hosts.
We were going to a wedding a few miles down the road and arrived at The Plough rather early hoping that there might be somewhere where we could change into our finery. Much to our surprise our hosts showed us to our room so that we could  relax for an hour or two before setting off. That was really appreciated!
We had a really good breakfast the following morning before setting off for home.


This is the second time coming here very welcoming   Very spacious room and very clean and very comfortable bed everything in description and more very nice breakfast to High standard I would come here more 

Lovely old building with friendly hosts. I was a bit worried when I read a negative review on here, but I was very happy to see our room. New, lovely mango wood furniture. Really comfy bed and pillows, all lovely and clean. Huge bathroom with double shower and bath. Yes the floors were a bit uneven, and the walls and ceiling not even, but it's a really old thatched building. There was a fan, and a little fridge in the room which was brilliant. The breakfast was stunning. Gorgeous ingredients and plenty to eat. All in all, a good experience and I'd happily return.

Bedroom was in an annex it had a four poster bed which was super comfortable. Room spotless clean.  Great choice for breakfast their full English was great. Never stayed in 16th century  place before so this was as enjoyable experience.  Would recommend and revisit.

Family holiday. Stayed one night. Very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms were cosy and clean. Breakfast was really good, real english breakfast,  made as you like it. The surroundings is a nice smallI village. I can warmly reccomend this place and time 😄

We love the Plough B&B! The proprietor John is so friendly and welcoming and his breakfasts are excellent. We stayed in a room in the stable block this time and it blew us away - see the photo! We will certainly be visiting again.

Had a great 2 night stay, good nights sleep thanks to the duck feathered duvet. Spacious cosy room with all that's required.

I can't rate the Plough Inn B & B highly enough. John, his wife and staff made us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

We had a lovely room in the main house which dates back to the 16th century. It was spacious, well-maintained, clean and comfortable with a massive TV. A perfect escape after a busy day in Oxford.

We had breakfast each morning of our stay. John took down our food choices the day before and even provided gluten free bread. The breakfast was absolutely delicious.

Clifton Campden is about 7 miles from the nearest Oxford Park and Ride at Redbridge.

An excellent stay. We will definitely be going back.
