Hotel W Dubai The palm

We have just returned from a 9 night stay at the W and can honestly say it was a 10/10 experience. The hotel has a proper resort feel to it, with a lovely, welcoming reception area and a vast pool area leading down to a pristine, private beach. It’s a great set up with the livelier wet deck pool and the option to sit around the other quieter pool(s) areas. The food is excellent and the selection is plentiful at the liv restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff are so welcoming. We were on a half board package and used the 150aed pp at other restaurants within the hotel. Olivino great and the food at wet deck was lovely. The team at the pool do an amazing job for the guests, making everyone feel so welcome and looked after in such hot conditions. We had some great conversations with Brian and Charles, who were great with us and even sent us off with a parting drink on the house which was hugely appreciated and a great gesture. Shout out to the newbies also, who were so hard working! There are so many top hotels in Dubai but If you are looking for a relaxing holiday with a true resort feel and amazing staff, then look no further than W Dubai the Palm. One slight suggestion would be that maybe the lighting could be a little brighter in the bathroom, my wife found it tricky applying her make up and drying hair etc. Easy access to palm west beach and JBR etc. in 10/15mins in an uber Back to winter in Scotland but hopefully we will get the chance to return in future!
