Andaz Dubai The Palm Hotel

We spent 10 unforgettable days at Andaz Dubai The Palm, and we truly cannot praise this hotel enough. The location, the facilities, the design but most of all, the incredible staff made our stay feel both relaxing and personal. From the moment we arrived, Mustafa at the reception welcomed us with genuine kindness and professionalism. He was always helpful, and attentive, and really set the tone for what turned out to be a truly memorable stay. But also every other staff member was extremely supportive :) A particularly touching moment came on our first and last day at The Locale restaurant, where the team surprised my boyfriend with delicious birthday pancakes and candles as well as beautifully decorated “See you again” cake on our last day! These kinds of gestures are what make Andaz so special thank you to everyone involved for making it such a meaningful experience. We would also love to highlight Shri at The Locale—one of the friendliest and most polite people we met during our stay. He was attentive and genuine, and always ensured we had a lovely time at every meal. The entire restaurant staff consistently went above and beyond. One of the highlights of our stay was the variety of relaxing spaces: The cabana pool on the 14th floor with stunning views of the Palm and Burj Al Arab. The main infinity pool is spacious and beautifully designed The private beach area is large and well-kept As we visited during the off-season, we loved the calm, uncrowded vibe throughout both the hotel and Dubai. However, guests should be aware that occasional renovation works may occur but this didn’t significantly impact our experience. We really appreciated the “Skip the Clean” program. Since we stayed for a longer period, daily cleaning wasn’t always necessary. For each skipped clean, we received a green token which could be exchanged for a free coffee at The Locale. It’s a great sustainability initiative and a lovely little reward system. The hotel overall was spotlessly clean, and the shared areas—from the lobby to the pool decks and beach—were immaculate and inviting. Just A Small Note The only slight inconvenience was having to walk through the main area of The Locale restaurant to return from the beach. But again, the staff showed true attentiveness as they were already working on a solution for an alternative entrance to make guests feel more comfortable. Their responsiveness and consideration were impressive. Another thing we really appreciated was the complimentary bottled water we received at the reception whenever we asked—thank you for always being so kind and attentive! To take this thoughtful service a step further, we’d love to suggest a more sustainable option for the future. Perhaps Andaz Dubai The Palm could consider: Providing reusable glass bottles in rooms or at reception, which can be refilled at water stations located throughout the hotel. Final Thoughts This hotel has a soul. It’s not just about design or comfort (though both are excellent)—it’s about people. We’re deeply thankful to the whole team for making us feel so welcome, cared for, and remembered. We wish the entire Andaz Dubai The Palm team all the best and truly hope to return next year.
