W Abu Dhabi - Yas Island

Had a wonderful 2-night stay at the W Abu Dhabi, Yas Island in July 2025. This hotel is an absolute gem, located on top (literally) of the F1 race track in Abu Dhabi. I could only imagine how exciting it would be to stay here during the F1 Grand Prix. With my Titanium (Lifetime) Elite status, I was given an upgrade to a suite overlooking the marina and race track. The suite was so impressive. The balcony space, itself, is bigger than most hotel rooms! The staff was excellent and tended to any needs/requests that I had. I will say, it was a little confusing about breakfast being included for titanium guests - upon check-in I was offered an amenity (elite gift) and I chose the breakfast. Note: This hotel does not have a lounge for elite Bonvoy members. At breakfast at Garage (one of the hotel restaurants), which I will say was VERY impressive, I was told that breakfast is always included for titanium guests, and I wondered if I should have chose a different amenity. Across from Garage there was a sign that read “Breakfast for Bonvoy Elite Guests”, a private breakfast area. This also led me to believe that breakfast, itself, is always included for someone with my Bonvoy status. I inquired further about this and Mr. Khalid Elaroussi, the floor manager at the restaurant, was incredibly kind and walked me to the front desk and they cleared up the uncertainty that I had, and even let me choose another amenity, which really meant a lot to me. Mr. Khalid was so kind to me and offered me his assistance for anything else that I needed. In fact, the 2nd morning at breakfast, Mr. Khalid saw me waiting in line and immediately came over and seated me to a nice table inside of the Bonvoy elite guests breakfast area. His warmth, enthusiasm, and helpfulness really made me feel at home at the W Abu Dhabi. All-in-all, I had a wonderful stay and I look forward to returning again soon. Thank you Mr. Khalid and the rest of the excellent staff at the W Abu Dhabi for making my stay a memorable one.
