The bed was extremely comfortable together with the pillows, room was pretty clean, slippers and dental kits were missing in bathroom, water was hot just the way i liked it given in the night its pretty cold given the high levels of humidity in the area, breakfast amazing as for the dinner fair. Overall was a great experience and yes, peace at the front office gave me and my wife outstanding service.....keep it up.

We stayed 2 nights at Chobe Safari Lodge as part of our trip through Uganda.  I would absolutely recommend staying to anyone thinking about going there.  It is a long drive to get there but worth it! The views and wildlife are breathe taking, the staff were just wonderful and so incredibly helpful.  Our room was lovely and the food was good:) We would go back if we are ever in this part of the world again! Thank you to the whole team for making our experience so wonderful.

I did not stay at this resort during our trip to Uganda a year ago, but we did met one of your guides, Muhamadi Mayanja Gadafi , at another location.  We spent a long day with him and another guide, birding, botanizing, and just generally learning and enjoying what the location presented.  Muhamadi was extremely knowledgable but also told wonderful stories about his childhood in the area.  One he told of a trick the kids had of tying grass into knots if they did something bad, if they did not get in trouble from their parents, they would come back and untie it.  He reported he never came back as he always got caught. Muhamadi made this day one of the best of the whole trip.

Chobe has the capacity to handle large groups, be it rooms, facilities or mindset. We put them on the spot with awkward abrupt requests during out visits, and each time they scored above average. I recommend it any day.

The lodge is itself absolutely lovely. However, the 17 km road to the lodge is in very bad condition. Hard to see any wild life but very spectacular to see the hippos coming up to the ground just 100 m from the outdoor restaurant. Food is excellent.

we arrived at 5:30 in the evening and sat on the terrace overlooking the nile, we enjoyed a cold beverage while taking in the stunning view. After a nice dinner we went down to the fire place on the banks of the nile taking in all the different sights and sounds it was an experience of a lifetime!  
The rooms were clean and comfortable , both air conditioning  and the hot water was working well .
The next morning we saw several Hippos grazing out of the water and a solitary elephant grazing in front of our . We then enjoyed a swim in the very nice pool .

I stayed there in July 2020 for two nights.   The minute you enter, you will be greeted by the stunning view of the Nile.   The room was comfortable and clean with the same magnificent view of the pools and Nile.  The hotel had electricity all the time, this is a luxury in Murchison Falls area as all other lodges have power only after 7:00pm.  The bathroom was clean with all the toiletries and hot water.  There is no AC in the room, but they have a big fan that was more than enough.  Also there was no mini fridge in the room, but I was supplied with bucket of ice for my icebox anytime I asked.

The food was very good and generous, the staff were very friendly, the service was fast.  At lunch and dinner, the chef and the manager came out to ask if we liked the food and if we needed anything else.  

There are 4 swimming pools that are very nice.  There are always warthogs, ducks, monkeys and occasional gazelles in the garden. You can see and hear the hippos all day and at night you can see them out grazing.

During breakfast, we saw 5 elephants on the other bank swimming and bathing in the river.  We asked for binoculars and they provided one for us that we kept till the day we left.

Internet was available in the pool area, lobby and restaurant.

Everything about our stay was wonderful.  We will surely come back again.

I loved every bit of it... we stayed there for two nights my wife and I enjoyed the calmness this place offers plus the game ranger we were advised to take on by the Chobe staff was very kind and well informed, it was an amazing experience👌

Booked my clients for three nights stay at this lodge located in Murchison falls national park Uganda and the services are perfect, accommodation, meals,game drive offered by the lodge and boat was all supperb for my clients.

Its such a beautiful place along the banks of the longest river in the world. Everything in this place makes it look like its out of Uganda. The staff are really so effective especially Shamim who made sure our stay was comfortable at each moment. The meals are nothing to complain about as its alot with starters,soups, main courses and desserts. The hygiene too is worth a mention as its really ok.

A truly wonderful stay!!

Great stay at Chobe lodge, although it was a short experience there only overnight all the staff were accommodating and the views from the lodge were unmatched!! Definitely would recommend 

On the negatives, there were soooooo many bugs there, I was expecting it given being right on the river but be prepared for A LOT of bugs to deal with, recommend brining bug repellent. They do have a mosquito net in rooms

Breath-taking view

In February we visited again Chobe Safari Lodge since we very much enjoyed our stay there years ago.
This time we again came from Nata Lodge but asked for camping.
The answer was that camping is full – so we choose a Rondeval. The room in there is quite big and a modernized bath is also good value for money.
Just – for whatever reason a generator is placed next to ... not sure why that must be like that. So it was not that nice sitting at the terasse.

We asked whether we can book for dinner but were told that there are no reservation.
So we went early 6 pm to get a seat with view ... but all seats showed [reserved].
We complained a bit and got a seat at the edge.
At 9 pm still most front seats with view were still vacant ... and we left.

Next day we walked and saw that only one Namibian camper was on the camping  site.
We went to the reception and asked why we were rejected and they told us that this is management order – bad management!!! Why not close camping instead of requesting employees to lie at customers?

But the game drive with a guy whose even very specific name I forgot – but he was amazing .., and the drive very the best since years.

All in all – a very nice lodge with very nice view ... but with management issues, including that it is also visible that the thatched roof of the main building needs maintenance after many years.

Disappointment after exciting stay years ago

Place anyone would love to stay

It was my third time staying at Chobe and it was again nice stay. Friendly staff, especially housekeepers were very professional.I also relaxed at the tent and enjoyed watching nature from the balcony, restaurants, and swimming pools. We could watch hippos from the restaurant at dinner. Also we have to be careful because some animals such as baboons and Savanna monkeys visited the  balcony, a baboon even took my snacks and he seemed to know we have something to eat. One thing I regret was there were a conference and the speakers were too loud and disturb the peaceful and quiet atmosphere completely.

Fantastic place,very beautiful,amazing views Rooms very nice and with good equipment Employes fantastic people very nice inded Comum areas poor, without confortwith exception of swiming pools zones and barMany power cuts, poor internet and working only in public zones.Potencial to be a great resort, but medium quality at this timeFood is good with many options
