We had a 2-night stay at this apart which really felt like home. The balcony allowed us to wash the clothes as we had a long trip ahead. We booked the apartment with breakfast and it was delivered at the door every morning by the hostess. The owner was a little shy but very kind and ready to help. The rooms were very tidy specially the bed and sheets. The only disadvantage was that there were no shower gel or soaps. fortunately there was a supermarket very close to the building. The streets near the building were full of cafes and restaurants, some of them with high quality food. The building is a little up the hill and you get a nice view of the black see each day as coming down! As a whole we enjoyed our stay. 

Cosy and clean

Staff are very friendly and helpful the hotel is managed by kazim and his family . They are very professional and nice people I highly recommend this hotel for large and small families . The hotel is very close to airport city and the forum mall you can find many restaurant and supermarket in the area . 

An excellent family hotel in Trabzon 

It is a very good location, very clean and excellent service. It is a family  business. The owner are very helpful and honest. The location is close to the university district. You can find market, resturants, a big mall called Forum and parks. It is a new building with air condition and free wifi. Honestly I would recommend this apart every one. I feel at home.

Feel at home

I was astonished reading the negative previous review!.. We e-booked more than two months before our arrival and had very positive impressions, instead.
Pros: Apartment 4Α was a bright flat full of light and positive energy! Nice view down to the neighborhood as well as to the sea  at the background. Very clean! Despite the rainy weather that kept us at home, we never felt bored in such a cosy "home". The owners are mainly German speaking; warm people, may be a little shy and reluctant but wonderful. Every day they had a little “something” for us; chocolates, a box with baklavas, roses from the garden for “good by” together with a big hug! 
Cons: Α literally breathtaking uphill from the main road (where dolmus station, restaurants, cafes etc) to the apartment house. No elevator. No shelves in the bathroom for our personal items; difficult to adjust the water temperature in the shower, low water pressure.

Bright flats at a calm neighbourhood

We had to stay in Trabzon during a business trip and this wasn't planned so we were too late to find a vacant room for a reasonable price at any hotel in the city.

We found this apart on the web and contacted a man (named Kazım) via phone, asking to book a room for four days. He said he could make a 1+1 apart available for us. We asked if it would be a problem as we were going to arrive in there at midnight, but he said "it's okay, we are waiting for you". 

We spent too much time to find the address because of its weird location, but finally arrived at midnight. The main door was closed, we knocked on the door for a couple of minutes and nearly gave up until a drowsy man finally let us in. There was no other staff around, and no reservation desk either. We introduced ourselves and reminded him of our phone conversation to book a room, but he did not answer for a while, and mumbled a couple of words which we could barely understand. He was reluctant to give enough and proper information. We said we wanted to check in but he answered that they didn't require a check-in procedure and he could directly take us to the flat. He looked nervous for no reason. 

No elevator! We had lots of heavy luggage with us so we carried them up to the 3rd floor with the unwilling assistance of the man. Then came the surprise, he confessed that the apart he said he had reserved for us was already booked by someone else for the next day, so actually it was vacant for only one night! He misinformed us on the phone just to fill that 1-night vacancy!

He apologized for the false information, said all the rooms but that one were occupied for the moment, and asked us to accept temporarily staying in there, promising that he would make a studio room available for us before the other guests' arrival. We had no other choice but stay there as we did not feel secure outside as it was midnight, so we said okay. 

The room was averagely clean, but the toilet bowl had some toilet paper thrown in it- apparently used and not cleaned for us. And ironically, the man did not let us go in with our shoes on, asked us to take them off "to keep the floor clean". Just ridiculous.

The next day, we were moved to a studio flat. As in the first apart, this one had no shower booth, but a showerhead which was broken. The bath was flooded as soon as I turned on the water, so I couldn't take a shower. 

The walls were extremely thin so we could hear not only a sneeze but also a "bless you" afterward. The rooms offer no privacy. 

The biggest surprise came at the 2nd evening, the man said that we had to leave the studio apart next morning because he had already reserved it for some Arabs before!!! This was the second time he misinformed us! He only apologized, which he obviously did not mean at all. He said online reservations were of priority compared to those made via phone. 

So we were forced to evacuate the apart and find somewhere else to stay although we had already booked this place actually. Apparently, we were frustrated to be kicked out, but kept calm anyway. 

Their final trick was to refuse giving us the receipt for our payment at our departure. Acting strangely, they said they had no stub left (!!!???) and asked us to come back "later" to get a printed bill (might that mean 'please just forget to ask for a receipt of your payment so we will avoid taxes'?). We insisted and could finally get it the day we left the city. 

After this awful experience, I felt the need to make this warning for potential guests. Don't be cheated by high review scores! The staff is not reliable and is far from being professional, the aparts do not deserve the demanded price! 

But if you fancy uncertainty or feel fine not knowing at what time of the day you will be kicked out of the place despite your reservation, or if you want to spend time wondering about which service you paid all that money for, feel free to try! The choice is yours.
