X Mountain Lodge Erciyes

It's the only one hotel in Hacilar ski area which is up to me, the best one/ very close to the lift.The windy weather is very often in this area  that is why the lift is often closed and therefore you have to go to other slopes by taxi or by car as there is no any shuttle bus

Excellent hotel. Staffs are friendly and very helpful. Delicious food. Ski resort (Hacilar Gate) is next to hotel. We travelled with our small children, they enjoyed lot. Beautiful place.

Well honestly my girlfriend and I were a bit skeptical about the place, considering the price and the fact that we booked our room a week prior to our visit. Yet it turned out that our concern were nonsense. It is a cozy and comfy place to stay. Rooms are nice and clean. The food was AMAZING! Stuff is really nice and welcoming too. I am never staying anywhere else again when visiting Erciyes.

Fine hotel, good price and  nice good food. We had a nice room on the top floor with few on teh snowtrack.
Also friendly people in the bar and restuarant. The city is a half houre with the car so not in the neigberhood

Superb Place

Excellent hotel near skipiste

My friend was going to this boutique hotel for the new year(For Christ Christmas) holiday, He announced me to come there with them. And it was a good experience for a snow holiday and skiing, there are many skiing area and pists for amateur and professional visitors. The pist was so murky, so we went to the main pist at the Erciyes mountain, you can skiing until 16:15; after that they don't let to come into pist, so first day we couldn't reach at that hour so we couldn't ski, we found a little hill we skied with ourselves little sleds, inspite of that it was funny, We got a lot of fun, there were many Russian tourist there they were making a ice party with sucuk( a traditional meat food for Turkey). The personels were helfull but not enough speedy for jobs. This place is not that professional but with good humour. Maybe ı go there again. The foods were satisfactory but ı would like much better but the price was not that high; so it was suitable with that. I will give some advice about skiing. Don't sky from the professional pist until you sky amateur pist about 30 times or you fell down 15 or more times and it is hard to stand up again and sky, and it is dangereous because there are many skiing people arund you thay can hit you.

The location close to the skilift is very good, the rooms are OK but rather small, the bathroom needs a makeover. So does the sauna and showers in the basement.

Twice there was no hot water for the shower. Not nice after a long trip/day on skis.
No clean towels provided (we were there for 5 days) or making of the room. 

They also gave us a room at the back the first night where on a windy night the window makes a loud annoying sound. We could not sleep for hours after arriving late at night and being very tired. When we complained the next morning we were told they were aware of the issue. So why give us the room? Especially since there were a lot of vacant rooms available!

Wifi works sporadically...

Be aware there are no shops/ restaurants etc. closeby. 

The food (buffet style) was good, allthough fresh bread at breakfast would be nice. They also need a good coffee machine, coffee is undrinkable.

Also the lobby with couches and place to sit is nice, the view from the loggia great.

Only 1 or 2 of the staff speak English. They were overall friendly. 

I realize this is not a very expensive hotel but based on their website we expected something better.

Great skiing! Unfortuately - not the hotels fault of course - most lifts not open.... Area therefor small. Nowhere near the 100 km of slopes as promised....

I understand that the hotel will be renovated. If so and they keep more lifts open, I will come back. Beautiful mountains and not overcrowded slopes.
