Klas Hotel

I visited this hotel as we were looking for a place which would offer value at the last minute. The setting is in the mountains in Ovacik and had some stunning views from the pool. The hotel is run by a family who were charming and accommodating. The all-inclusive finishes at 11 but made us food especially when we arrived at 1 am after a nightmare flight which was delayed for a few hours after we had already boarded. The location is a little out of the way but buses come every 5 minutes to take to Hisaranu, Oludeniz or Fethiye which are all short bus rides away from the main road two minutes walk away. The facilities were basic but that is what we expected for the price. The room was clean and the twin room included one double bed and one single bed which were both perfectly adequate. Food is served three times a day. Breakfast is a standard turkish breakfast. There is one option for hot food but this comes with soup and good selection of salads at dinner time. The food is local style, delicious and prepared fresh. This probably isn't the place for you if you are a picky eater as the lack of options may make this difficult. Again this has to be put in the content of the reasonable price. The bar is similar in that there are few options and that also closes at 11. However people are always on hand to get you beer when you want one. If you are looking for a luxury resort this probably isn't the place for you but if you want to meet some nice people who are happy to help you when needed this is a gem. We had a great time and would go back. It may not be perfect for everyone but I couldn’t think f anywhere better to stay for the right people.
