Visited Marmaris for the first time in July 2017 & fell in love with the area particularly Armutulan & returned in November 2017 for a week & decided to go for a month from May to June 2018. Stayed at Ulas Apartments in a quiet residential area great hosts self catering apartments clean big 1 bed apartment with separate shower like a wet room with WC kitchen & lounge with pull out beds so up to 4 people could stay here. Lovely balcony to dry clothed but there is a local laundry nearby who do your ironing too. I used the local hairdressers for a couple of quid & got my hair blow dried for a fiver. Nails Eyebrows Manicure & Pedicure can be done locally it was great to spoil yourself. I shopped at Migros & local supermarket & outdoor markets the olives, fruit & veg, spices & meat & chicken beautiful. So much to see & do. Cheap to eat out so you do not have to cook all the tine. Night life always live entertainment but there are non toutist restaurants & bars where licals drink these are best & not 2 fir 1 cocktails & the mayhem of Bar Sreet but you have to experience this at least once its mad bur great fun. I felt very safe in Armurtulan walking to local shop to get fresh bread each day no hassle would definitely recommend for couples & families not a party animal area. Can’t wait to go back in June. Near everything & local bus routes. Blackpool Bar great drag cabaret near beach.
