Ekodanitap Natural Life

Our stay at Ekodanitap has been a highlight of our time in Turkey. Mehmet and Kader are excellent cooks, and they are both warm and friendly people who made us feel right at home. The bungalows are cosy and comfortable, and we loved reading books on the balcony. Ekodanitap is so peaceful, we found it hard to wake up in the morning. This is not a place for people who expect 5 star luxury. This is a place for people who enjoy the simple things in life and who can appreciate spending time with people who grew up in the mountains and want to share their knowledge and their love of the region. Mehmet put together an excellent program that introduced us to the high pasture yaylas, some beautiful and interesting walks, and historic buildings. Although we sometimes had some language challenges, we shared jokes and many smiles. We always managed to communicate, and Mehmet was able to share so much knowledge of the kackar history, culture, flora and fauna. Thank you, Mehmet and Kader.
