We’ve just returned from a fantastic family holiday (2 adults, a 7-year-old, and a 15-year-old), and honestly, the hotel doesn't deserve the bad reviews it's been getting. First of all, it’s important to be realistic. This is a developing country, and while it's rated 4 stars locally, that doesn’t mean it's the same as a 4-star hotel in the UK. But once you adjust your expectations and look at it logically, there’s a lot to appreciate here. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. From reception to housekeeping and entertainment, everyone made a real effort to ensure we were happy. Our room was cleaned daily, and fresh towels were always provided. The pools were clean and well-maintained, with plenty of space for the kids to enjoy themselves. As for the food, there was a different theme each night, so we never felt bored with the options. Yes, the children’s food options were fairly similar most nights, but that’s quite common with all-inclusive packages. There was always something they could enjoy. One of the real highlights for us was the entertainment team—they truly go above and beyond to get everyone involved and make the evenings fun. Overall, we had a lovely time and felt well looked after. If you come with a bit of understanding and an open mind, you’ll have a great holiday too. Don’t let the negative reviews put you off.
