“Very good peaceful place”
Very nice place for peace and quiet relaxing stay as it waa Eid holiday weekend their breakfast had more variety than the luxury maison d'hote in la marsa that i stayed at the night before!! the air conditioner in my room nice and cold colder than all the places i stayed at so far on my vacation here in tunisia

I would recommend my friends and family, it was great experience there, polite staff and cooperative.

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel.Everything was good. The room was spacious,traditional Tunisian style tiles.Free wifi,TV, Air conditioned with toilet amenities. Enough pieces of bath towel in the bathroom,Covered with safe locker and a  blanket.
The hotel equipped with Jacuzzi, and large outdoor and indoor swimming pool.There was a water caoster but found inactive.

In house bar and restaurant facilities available, but not to recommend half board reservation food was cold at the dinner and not satisfied kitchen.

Breakfast served at 07:30-10:30 buffet Tunisian French style was enough options.

The hotel is close to 15 minutes far from la Marsa and 30minutes from Sidi Bou said by taxi.

From city centre to la marsa cost only 13tnd to the hotel by taxi.The clubbing areas only 5/10minutes drive from the hotel.

Personals of the hotel was polite, and helpful, speaks English/French/Arabic.

I love my stay it was relaxing and quiet.


The hotel is excellent, the pool is super nice! The breakfast is so fine and all is gonna be perfect if the cleanness is regarded a little bit more

I would like to say a big thank you to the management and all the staff at this hotel. I found my whole experience very relaxing and enjoyable a place to go without any hassle from anyone. The bedrooms were clean, the bar staff were friendly and the restaurant was very good. I would definitely recommend this hotel for someone who is looking to rest and relax and to wind down. It's 2 hours from London and the hotel is only 20 minutes from the nearest airport so it is very easy to get to. The peace and tranquility was beyond belief. The beach is walking distance from the hotel too. Overall this was a very good hotel and would definitely recommend it to people in the future. Tim Reidy

The  hotel was amazing. The staff was extremely friendly, and their reception was lovely. The price was competitive, the pool was clean, and the room was tidy. The hotel has a beautiful private beach and is suitable for adults There are two points to note: the hotel is a bit far from the center of Marsa, but it's not a big issue. Additionally, there are parties almost daily until 5 AM. If you're looking for a crazy vacation and don’t mind the noise, this is your best choice!😄

Excellent stays

This is the 7th time I have stayed at Aqua Viva.  It was cheap - only 32$ US and clean.  Need a taxi to get there though.Nice, pleasant staff and decent breakfast.  Some very noisy foreign guests who don't seem to respect the culture.I find the price is right and the bed is comfy.  Bathroom bit dated but clean and water is hot!

Another Nice Stay

Excellent stay at the hotel!

We stayed here  after the Arab spring. There were lots of Libyan militants awaiting their treatment abroad staying here then, They were very friendly but thought we English could be bribed to gain them visas ! It led to lots of drinks being bought and cigarettes so wasn't all bad. Curry was available for breakfast strangely but I have to say the food was very good on the whole. The room was ok, although fitted with a secondhand bathroom it was comfortable. We hired a car, Its like the dodgems, every panel was dented and the instructions to drive from the car hire rep were " indicate, be brave and go. go go !!". I have to say it was a memorable experience...

Bizarre

On my first visit to Tunisia I found this hotel a delight. Nice environment and friendly staff. The taxi drivers were always willing to go the extra mile (excuse the pun) to help you get a great photo or your postcards mailed in nearby La Marsa. The pool and environs were very conducive to lounging and the beach is literally steps down the path. I think Acqua Viva was a great place at a great price!

This Hotel was fine for our family holiday - most of the staff were kind and friendly - food was decent, indoor pool was ok - room was satisfactory, it was right by the beach and although it was a long way from the city it was nice to be a bit exclusive. You get what you pay for and this was a 3 star hotel - it was cheap - Overall we were definitely satisfied and might even return. Don't know why some ppl are complaining here

We Enjoyed

good value for money. good for families with kids. a bit far from the main attractions of the area. nice long sandy beach. food was good and never boaring, the staff was kind. the hotel needs manteinance in the common areas, but they were shining it up for high season.only negative point, the lift was often broken, not easy if you have a pushchair or suitcases

Was awkward to find as whilst only just off of the main road it was not sign posted. 10 minutes from La Marsa by our hire car which was a lovely location. The hotel beach is stunning too. The culture is very different and tolerant of things in a different way than in the west, this is evident in certain idiosyncrasies generally in Tunisia. If you hire a car please remember the advice given by my car hire company was this ' indicate, be brave and go go go !!!' it was good advice, should you not have nerves of steel get a transfer or settle for having to use taxis !! I would revisit this hotel, I enjoyed it.
