We stopped here for one night as part of a self-guided tour. The guesthouse is away from the main centre but that suited us as we had our own car and we don't like traffic noise etc. when trying to sleep. Despite being away from the centre, there was a small local restaurant located within a five minutes' walk (as the guesthouse does not offer food - including breakfast). Our room was spotlessly clean and modern with free Internet, flatscreen TV (which we didn't use), kettle, fridge, air-contact, lots of hot water and a comfortable bed. Although our patio door led to an outdoor shower (!) there was no seating area or garden that we could see (which wasn't a problem for us). We did have some noise from the room next door (the walls appeared thin) but other than that, we'd certainly recommend this guesthouse for travellers who want good value accommodation. We don't speak Thai but the owners (?) spoke enough English for us to by. We'd like to have scored this guesthouse 3.5 but unfortunately that is not an option - so we have rounded it up to 4.
