This island koh samet located 65 kms from pattaya en route to rayong and chontha buti. I went from pattaya and the ferry point is a place name ban phi.i went by taxi by charge of 1600 bhat to and fro same taxi from central pattaya.at ban phi you have to get down and from there you can go by speed boat. There are ticket counters.in koh samet there are many beaches and charges vary to every beach.better chose aah phai beach.they charge 1200 bhat for each for up and down. You can stay at island for a night but my advice no need. From this beach you can go by walk to other beaches.beaches are little dusty.but ok for few hours to play.when you return you can go for rayong fruit market on the way.for one day trip you can choose.but sai kaew beach in sattahip is better than this.
