Seaside Shack with Sunset Views... Awesome! Come as a human being not a 1st world fusspot! Unspoilt (yes untidy garden - but loved the dogs and goose) friendly landlady (be nice to her and she will be nice back!) Free wifi/fans/huge room/fridge/hot water..... Quiet - birdsong and waves lapping - not partying people! Own balcony a few feet above the ocean, direct beach access...it was paradise!!!! Set off the main path to Sairee Beach, next to Simple Life Divers, and other bars/restaurants. Landlady runs shop next door. No night time noise, you can walk into main town along the beach and return same way- try not to disturb the huge crab! Undisturbed view of sunset, ocean and rocks. If you want shiny floors and plastic walls - don't come here. If you expect to be waited on hand and foot - don't come here. If you want to stay in an enchanted place - and you like wood and your own privacy - and you don't want to pay a fortune - but pay a sensible amount for average fittings - to an actual local lady... then do come here! In 7 weeks of travel this was our favourite place - get yourself a beer and enjoy!
