29 reviewsReally enjoyed our stay in the bamboo huts. After being sceptical due to previous reviews we were very pleased with how perfect the accommodation and owner were. The previous comments couldn’t have been further from the truth and are a complete misrepresentation of this hotel. The owner is very kind and went out of his way for us, booking our boat for our departure and providing us with a motorbike. He happily had our room cleaned when we asked and was very pleasant throughout our entire time. The room itself is lovely, I would compare it to glamping. Of course there are bugs and geckos in the bathroom and occasionally the room, but the rooms are not infested nor do they bother you at all. Most amazing sounds of crickets at night, despite being close to the road (room 3) this was not a problem. The occasional motorbike exhaust can be heard but that is all. Very close to the beach which has good bars, although if renting a motorbike there are nicer beaches further south. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return.
