Fantastic
4 reviewsI stayed at Prince Residence for about 3 weeks. It is about 10 minutes walk from the bus station so it is convenient to a lot of western amenities and restaurants. But it is still far enough away to be less busy than hotels closer to the bus station. The beds are hard by western standards but that didn't bother me. My spacious, air-con room was south facing and quiet with a balcony. If you have a north facing room you will get more more traffic noise as you will be about a block away from and facing a somewhat busy road. The lady manager was helpful and kept the rooms tidy and stocked with fresh towels, soap and water. As far as I can tell all rooms come equipped with a refrigerator and kettle. The residents are a mix of short-term Thai and young western tourists as well as a few longer term Thais.
