Sansuri Resort Phuket

Sansuri is a great resort to stay at. The apartments are very modern, clean, and well maintained. The receptionist gave us a quick tour of the apartment and showed us how to use the safety deposit box and the television. All rooms are temperature controlled. The kitchen was stocked with all the plates, pots, and utensils you would need. The balconies look out over the pool with lush views of the jungle. The gym was being renovated when we stayed. There was no restaurant on the resort. You can request breakfast served poolside or in your room. Just outside the gate are a few outdoor restaurants and a massage spa. You can get a private massage inside your room. These services are cheaper compared to the Main Street overall. Sansuri is located a little in from the main road. About a 5 minute stroll to get to the main road where there are restaurants and small markets to shop at. There are many 7 elevens and street vendors on the Main Street. The larger markets nearby are Tesco express and 24H Cheap. It’s about another 10 minute walk to Surin beach. Surin beach has smooth sand and the waves can be a bit rough close to the beach. The resort is very serene and you will not be disturbed by noise. The reception is very accommodating and aims to please. We booked a tour last minute online and they were able to use their phone to call the tour company to make sure we got picked up at the resort. The only downside about staying here is that you will be further away from the main towns and so will likely incur additional charges for tours if you request pickup from Sansuri resort. It’s about 50 minute drive from the resort to the ferry pier going to the Phi Phi Islands. The resort has a private shuttle service to the airport which cost 800 baht for 4 people. I highly recommend staying here if you want a quiet getaway away from the hustle and bustle of Phuket.
