Arinara Beach Resort Phuket

Upon arrival at Arinara beach resort 9am we couldn’t check in till 2pm so we asked if we could pay for early check in 500baht per hour so as we had been awake for a long time and were tired we said we would pay this. We had to still wait and when we saw the location and room we said we will wait for the original room that was allocated as it was better situated for us We did end up falling asleep in the reception area which didn’t look good from a hotel prospective We had been for a walk to check out where our room was and it was ready around 10 am so why couldn’t we just be given the keys to this room as it was low season and not busy we paid for early check in so we couldn’t see the issue really (the hotel refunded our payment as we didn’t accept first room) We had the keys for our room at 1pm The room was spacious and beds were very big and comfortable We did have to ask for extra items as there was 3 adults and it was only set up for two people which I find strange when the room accommodates 4 people anyway? The hotel is situated in a good area on the beach and close to shops and restaurants that are well priced I can recommend Mama Mia across the road from the hotel great food We did eat at the pool bar at lunchtime prices were as expected for hotel but food was nice The restaurant in a morning had plenty of choice only down Sid for me omelette and fried eggs were cooked in advance and were cold so I asked for fresh to be cooked The pool area is clean and tidy although the pool has tiles missing and some are sharp if you catch you on them so maybe this needs to be sorted as soon as possible as possible I must say that our house keeper was fantastic she was so happy and friendly and did a fab job every day We noticed when it was her two days off there was a difference toilet rolls missed just a small thing but needed Our housekeeping lady was called Saw we looked forward to talking to her every day what a lovely lady Overall this hotel is worth a visit and we would recommend it to family and friends and would go back as location is good and Phucket is only 45minutes away Also they are renovating rooms
