Dewa Phuket Resort & Villas

Last week we stayed in grand pool villa at Dewa Resorts, with my wife for 2 nights and we had a really great experience. Check-in process was quick and easy. Even though we got there a bit earlier (around 11), but we had our villa ready. You need to download their app for any room service/chat, which we found pretty easy. The villa (Grand Pool Villa no. 105) was spacious, clean, and well designed. Even two pairs of decent flip-flops and large umbrellas were provided. But the highlight was the private pool. Bathroom also includes a bath tub. High quality toiletries, clean towels, and two bathrobes are provided. Mattress and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was good, with both Western and local choices, incl halal options. We really liked the coffee. Ample choices of fresh fruits, though fresh mango and mango sticky rice could also be included. Egg stn has all options. We also enjoyed the special breakfast menu (for villa), which was great too. I booked directly with the resort, as such we got a better rate along with -free airport transfers, complimentary drinks and coffee at the pool bar, and the extra breakfast menu options. The location is another plus, as it just 5 mins drive to Phuket airport. It has both pros/cons as the city center is about 45 min to an hr drive. But the taxi options are ample and cheap too. Just 5 mins from Nai Yang beach which is quiet and clean. There are two 7 Elevens nearby for quick grab for daily needs. Few things we thought could be improved- - Heated pool - More complimentary options in minibar - Few more choices in the breakfast menu. Also add a bit more chicken in the local curry dishes. - For vegetarians/vegans choices could be be more. Thanks to Mr Jack (GM), who helped to get us into our villa early, and to the entire Dewa team for great hospitality and making our stay enjoyable.
