Good
10 reviewsI am only on my second night.... But I can say I have looked at everything that needs mentioning. Firstly - the hotel is newish and it is CLEAN - it's nothing fancy but is NEAT and tidy.... Rooms are great, good enough for the money , TV , safe , my room has a bath which isn't my preference ie I want a shower. POOL is ok - on the roof top - it's clean on my visit ( one review said it was dirty) Another review also mentioned the restaurant being closed - it is on my visit too - I suspect it's just not viable to keep it opened. As the hotel is off a side street in what looks like a THAI residential area....it's pretty quiet round here ( hardly any traffic ) The ONLY issue i have with the hotel is the distance from the beech and bars etc etc ... I walked it this morning , the PROS are great street food on the main Street which is about 200+ metres away ...there is a few clothes , shoe etc etc shops on this main Street that are better priced than tourist area's.... Food same price 50-70 baht. So anyway you walk down this long road for about 1+ km ( maybe 2km ) and get to the main road cross the bridge then you walk down another big long road that is probably another 1-2km . I did find a great little restaurant at the start of the second big road.... Best food I have had so far by far for 60baht for 1 dish. So anyway had a little swim at the beach then had a few drinks at bar then more food then swim again.THEN walked back- the reason I told you all that is because I am very tired now ....kind of to show you walking will be exhausting but not impossible. I expect if you don't like walking - you may need to 2 return trips a day into the lively part of Pattaya ..... That could be up to 500 baht per day ( £10+) just in transport. Which kind of defeats the CHEAP hotel theory.......I stayed a night in a hotel on the beach , it was a terrible hotel that was 700baht but you can get hotels in a good area for about 600-800 baht nothing fancy does have swimming pools etc etc If i had to offer advise - one is just book 1-3 days i a hotel prior to visit , then just look around when you get here ...hotels are everywhere and am sure alot are not listed on websites .....personally I find that you probably don't need a pool if you like the beech.... I always try and get a pool but am very happy with beach ..... Lots of rooms to rent above shops and stuff that are probably cheap. Anyway -' hope you have a nice trip
