1 reviewWe loved this experience and Amphawa floating market. It was well worth taking a 70 Baht minibus journey to experience non-tourist Thailand and the amazing food on offer at Amphawa market. It IS a fair way out of Amphawa, in lush countryside among farms and fruit plantations, but the owners were ultra helpful in helping us find a songtaw into town and the next day the young man of the house ( who is a teacher, speaks English) took us on a private tour of local attractions. It was lovely on the river, so peaceful, so pretty Beds were comfortable, the shower was hot, breakfast was "real" Thai and good. Take your own coffee if you need a fix, they nly had premix with milk and sugar, luckily we had a stash. Highly recommended and we gave Amphawa and Banmaimo a full write up on the World Travel Family website. Like a lot!
