Don't be confused by the title 'hostel'. This is a beautiful home in a lovely location and very convenient for Yuli Township (by car). The owner is a very kind man who used to be a merchant ship captain and has businesses in IT. We were made very welcome, had a beautiful room, enjoyed listening to the wildlife outside our bedroom window at night, and tucked into a tasty breakfast before leaving. If you are heading north or south down Taiwan's east coast as we were, this is a great stopping off point. You will need to drive 10 minutes or so into Yuli for supper, but that's no problem. Recommended.
